View Cruise DealsMagnificent ship all around, bars great all of the staff are so helpful and can't do enough for you, our cabin was just an inside one which is perfectly ok clean very comfortable bed, food was great so no worries at all about anything
Fabulous ship but too many people!!! In January with no one outside it was Just so busy at times and very noisy! Buffet became impossible on the sea day. Overwhelmed the staff and passengers! Entertainment in Theatre and Panorama was 1st class and we saw both shows every night. Embarking and disembarking the Ship was very efficient. MSC we’ll be back!!
From the momemt we arrived at the terminal we were looked after by the yacht club butlers until we disemarked 7 days later. The ship is massive and impressive I must admit we prefer smaller but the service was second to none. Entertainment fantastic and the food in Yacht club was hot and delicious. Everyone tastes and needs were cateted for. The other specialty restaurants were superb. We would absolutely reccomend and go with MSC YACHT CLUB again. But I dont think we would be regular passenger on Europa, the ship with 6000 on board was noisey and very busy. It would be a great holiday if you have children as in the main area as something for everyone.
Great staff and cabin good. Food mediocre and evening entertainment poor.
She is a beautiful ship and even though she can carry a vast amount of passengers, we never felt as if it was too busy. So many venues to explore made it very interesting and varied. We dined in Butchers Cut one night which was good, also our waiter in the main dining room looked after my gluten intolerance splendidly! He even brought me 2 Lobsters one evening as I had had to wait for a while for my meal. Delicious! Our cabin was enormous with a huge balcony and kept very clean by our Steward. I have no complaints about MSC World Europa and would choose to sail on her again in the future
Amazing ship, bright, light, and shiny. All ultra modern. However, it's very noisy, very loud and always so busy. The buffet was horrendous with so many people jostling and shoving. No where to relax or be quiet. The cabin was good, clean and spacious with a good bathroom. Food average at best. Very expensive as you have to pay extra for lots of things , such as port transfers.
Ship was amazing, staff great, cabin was disabled one with no seating other than the bed. Bathroom smelt of stagnant water. Food in buffet was cold and poor selection. Restaurant food was OK but not amazing. Other passengers were rude. No tea/coffee making facilities in cabin, even though we asked and was told it would be put in cabin. Drinks package was very expensive and there should be a smaller/cheaper option. Poor communication of daily arrangements, we like a paper copy to read( don't want to be on phones all the time). Shows we're amazing but don't understand why you could only see a show once. On the day flying home we spent 8 hours at Barcelona airport very poor planning.
We got on early which was a bonus as we thought we would have to wait. Room was lovely although no kettle in room apparently for safety reasons. Room service you had to pay for. Plenty of places to eat and you could fill your water bottles up. The restaurant food was good and staff was excellent. Atmosphere good staff did try and get people to join in. There was lots of a variety of things to do but each venue didn’t hold that many people. The special acts borough on were brilliant. There didn’t seem to be any quiet places to sit in and read a book or have a rest. There are plenty of hot tubs and sun loungers. The pools are warm but salty. There are 2 pools which are adults only. We thought the lifts were great as you aren’t all trying to get in the same one.
Ship is an impressive sight and has great amenities. However it is also busy and quite noisy. Loud music almost everywhere you go. Lots of bustle. Took me nearly half an hour to get a specialist coffee at peak time. Entertainment is outstanding, theatre shows spectacular though there’s less room than usual for dancing in the bars and lounges. Food is typical cruise style, restaurant service is attentive, alcohol expensive and tours pricey. Found the bed to be hard and our cabin steward kindly fitted a topper to soften the feel. On balance I prefer other ships in the MSC fleet but it was fun to try the Big One!
Crew in Lanai bar exceptional our waiter in MDR couldn’t do enough and lastly cabin staff went sbove and beyond
