MSC Seascape Reviews

The ship itself is fairly standard in layout, design etc (at least the parts I had access to as I have yet to try Yacht Club facilities), and my partner enjoyed the fact that our balcony room had a bath, not just a shower. There is however a reliance on the MSC for Me App, including to access basic things like the menu in the evening. The app diminished the dining experience for me and more generally I actually enjoy being able to lock my phone in the safe for the majority of my holiday - not feel that I must have it in order to access basic services. I would not sail on MSC again as the experience felt very transactional and not as special as some other cruise operators. I do however appreciate for the price I paid the experience was more than adequate. In future I plan to pay a little more in order to get the kind of experience I prefer.

Ship was lovely, buffet was awful, very little choice

My wife and I were staying in the yacht club which was excellent so we didn’t venture out much into the rest of the ship but what we did see seemed very busy and crowded we much prefer the Virtuosa or the world Europa with their central promenade and LED display

Excellent cruise over all, excellent evening entertainment, however, the daily entertainment is limited and all around sport activities, No other activities as for ex films or anything else. The breakfast and lunch on market place was very good, however, the dinner has limited options of sea food and vegetarian. I got conflicting answers on whether the meat is halal or not. So, my choices of food was really limited as a result. It would be really helpful if that was clear answer. The dinning in the allocated time was very slow and if we go there means that we will miss many evening entertainment. So, we have decided not to go there and use the market place instead.Shopping activities could have been more to include various clohes brands.Over all was very good experience.
