ITV's The Cruise with Princess Cruises

The ever-popular ITV series, The Cruise, is due to return to screens in January, and this time we will follow the stunning Majestic Princess through destinations in the East – namely Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. As well as some familiar faces, fans of the programme will get to know a few new characters, in addition to another fabulous Princess Cruises ship.

What is ITV’s The Cruise About?

This popular programme can boast five series before this one, with each offering a glimpse into life onboard a Princess Cruises ship. The idea is to offer viewers the chance to find out more about what a holiday with this fantastic cruise line is like; to take a closer look at the features and services available on the ships, as well as of course which destinations they visit.

What will happen in series six?

In this latest series, let Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Iron Lady actor Anthony Head transport you to Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, as he narrates throughout the journeys of Majestic Princess.

Find out more about how hotel services engineer Scott Grayson manages to keep things under control and take care of all kinds of matters onboard, all the while sharing his excitement to get back home to his new baby girl.

Plus meet Princess Cruises’ veteran Captain Dino Sagani, who has been with the cruise line for an impressive 25 years. Having been appointed captain of Majestic Princess in 2007, he is particularly fond of this vessel due to it's being built just a few miles away from his hometown of Trieste in Italy.

Which destinations will be seen in series six?

If you’ve ever considered cruising in Asia or Australasia, let this series of The Cruise show you more about what you can expect. Taking in cities including Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore, you’ll soon get a good feel for what can be seen on an Asia cruise. As well as interesting history and traditions, learn more about the food, scenery, and modern culture of the people living here. Then in Australasia, follow as Majestic Princess sails to exciting cities such as Wellington and Auckland in New Zealand, each of which boasts almost otherworldly scenery – including various set locations used in Lord of the Rings. In Australia, the ship will visit Darwin and Brisbane among others, where visitors can see a stunning array of wildlife. You can find more itineraries here.

What our customers say

"I booked a Fred Olsen cruise with IGLU last month and was so impressed by the service I received. The staff member I spoke to was Kimberley and she was exemplary. Capable, kind, professional, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. She went through every step of the way calmly and thoroughly. IGLU were recommended to me by friends and I have no hesitation in passing the recommendation along. Well done IGLU and thank you. "

"So easy to deal with, I studied the Cruise I wanted, did my research with different company's and returned to Iglu. I had three quotes matching Iglu’s cost, but with one phone call they beat the price themselves by £40 without me even asking, how easy was that! "
