Other than the outward flight being cancelled And losing a day from the holiday everything was great prima has a strange layout and had difficulty getting into popular venues unless you get there over an hour before the start, the staff in the restaurants we use were very good. I rated the activities as 2 but we actually never used them.

Our experience in Haven was 5 star. We would not have liked not to be in Haven as we found the rest of the ship to be quite crowded. We were happy to enjoy reserved seating in the theatre but upset we could not even get in the other lounges( particularly disappointed to miss Syd Normans which had long queues and was full). The shows were exceptional. The dance troupe magnificent. Food in Haven, Bistro and Cagneys beyond compare. We found minor maintenance problems in the suite and around deck and hope the ship can stand the test of time. The crew were very efficient along with having time to be friendly, funny at times and even remembering our names.

Well run cruise on relatively new ship. Staff pleasant polite and efficient Good variety of good quality food Some "cheesy" entertainment but theatre productions and Syd Normans Pour House excellent Caters well for solo travellers. Relaxed atmosphere. Drinks and tours expensive . Some of ports some distance from cites to visit

We mainly chose the cruise because of the itinerary (Baltics) and Norwegian's "Freestyle" policy to dining and dress code, plus having previously had a good trip on Prima. The itinerary had to be changed slightly due to weather but this was well communicated and didn't dampen our enjoyment. As usual staff were exceptional; cheerful and helpful. The food choice is generally good but the buffet breakfast is a bit repetitive with not much variety of bread / rolls. The buffet is quite small because of other eating venues e. g. Indulge, Local Bar and Grill, but can get quite crowded and I dread to think of the chaos if there were a lot of children on board. Indulge is a good and innovative idea where you order off a tablet from a variety of food stations e. g. Indian, noodles, however the menu doesn't change from day to day but there are subtle differences between lunch and dinner. We only used the Local Bar and Grill once and whilst good, we felt the food wasn't as good as last year on Prima; maybe we were just unlucky on the day. Entertainment is good with excellent shows and performers so I'd recommend booking shows early to avoid disappointment. Their daily Freestyle magazine is now optional as you can see it on the app, but whilst I understand their wish to reduce waste by producing too much paper it does seem a bit odd that you still get bombarded by flyers every day for spas, art gallery etc. etc! All the above may seem to be nit-picking but they are minor points and I would thoroughly recommend Prima; after all nothing can be 100% perfect for everyone.

Very clean, comfortable ship. Rode out two storms South and North of Ireland, no real discomfort. SOLO cabin was good and all I needed! Food/Dining options were very good.

Poor food choices if you are a vegan. Even with several restaurants, finding protein was extremely challenging.

We had a bumpy start to our cruise, losing a day in La Havre to weather, but for the most part everyone I met was OK with this. The Captain's decision not to go into port was correct for the safety of passengers, crew and the ship. Again bad weather robbed us of a port day in Reykjavík, but at least we managed one day in port. Facilities on board were good, kept immaculate by caring and dedicated staff. I was in a Solo Inside cabin, compact but roomy enough for one. My only complaint? Not enough areas to smoke initially until a new area was set up outside; it proved very popular and acted as a good place to wind down after excursions and chat to new found friends. Duty Free was definitely aimed at higher price buyers, the only cheap items were cigarettes!! I went to several of the shows in the evenings, they provided a high level of quality entertainment. Food was generally very good to excellent, though a little more variation would have been good rather than the same menu every night in some eateries. I visited several of the bars, all good but there was a standout service from the staff at The Local - Dalewin, Alfred and Paul were excellent and really looked after each and every customer, maintaining standards with a smile and always a friendly greeting. This was my first ever cruise - I now have the bug and will be booking more as soon as I can! I can highly recommend Norwegian Prima in all categories.

So top class entertainment on board both at Syd Normans and the main theatre. Musical shows really good and the magician/comedian was quite good too. Only problem was the buffet - not enough room there during meal times , same as the Local bar and the food hall. otherwise food reasonably good.
