Carnival Fantasy comes to life at night, especially at the onboard theatre in the Universe Lounge where twice per cruise a vegas-style live show takes place. There are also other evening activities on the ship, including trivia and after parties, meaning that the night can be as short or as long as you like. Bars are also plentiful and whether you’re looking for a cosy spot away from the crowds or to socialise with other guests, you’ll find somewhere exactly to your taste. If you’re feeling lucky, there’s even a casino with slot machines and table games waiting to see if you can make your fortune.

Cosy bars
  • Atrium Bar- a classical string ensemble provides the soundtrack to your drink.
  • Majestic Bar- the dark décor and ocean views make this the perfect spot for a couple’s drink.
Outdoor bars
  • RedFrog Rum Bar- inspired by the Caribbean, enjoy some of the best rum available.
  • BlueIguana Tequila Bar- serving up colourful, frozen cocktails.
Music and dancing
  • Cleopatra’s- keep the night lively by taking part in the sing-along.
  • Electricity Nightclub- the place to be for late-night dancing.
  • Cats Lounge- if you like karaoke, you’ll love this Cats: The Musical inspired bar.

The deck is the main hub of activity on a Carnival Fantasy cruise and WaterWorks, the onboard water park boasting two racing slides and a spiralling waterslide, is a hit with all the family. Alternatively, the main pool is a more chilled-out location for splashing about or lounging under the sun on one of the many deck chairs. As well as the pools, guests can make the most of the other facilities on the deck from jogging around the running track to a game of ping pong or even mini golf. The fun is endless!

However, if you’re looking for a more tranquil spot, head to Spa Carnival and enjoy one of the indulgent treatments on offer. Give your body (and soul) a well-earned boost with a facial, massage, haircut or a visit to the nail salon.

Meanwhile, the Grand Atrium at the heart of the ship also has lots to keep you occupied. Have a browse through the shops and boutiques onboard and see if there are any duty-free treats you’d like to take home as a memento of the holiday of a lifetime or take some time for yourself and sit down to enjoy a book or a board game at the Pavilion Library.
