A Monthly Roundup of the Biggest Cruise News

The Carnival Continues with Cruise Line Introducing Two New Ships

This month, Carnival Cruise Line confirmed its plans to expand its current fleet with two new ships: Carnival Adventure, and Carnival Encounter.

Following the sunsetting of P&O Cruises Australia earlier in the year, Pacific Adventure and Pacific Encounter are joining Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet as Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter respectively. Bolstering this cruise line’s offerings in Australasia and the Pacific, this expansion is an exciting one for fans of Carnival Cruise Line’s Fun Ship onboard experience and anyone looking for exciting adventures in the Southern Hemisphere.

Carnival Encounter

An interesting acquisition that will refresh the onboard amenities and attractions of both ships, while still maintaining much of what was available under P&O Cruises Australia, both Carnival Adventure and Carnival Encounter should feel fresh and familiar to both Carnival Cruise Line regulars and P&O Cruises Australia fans alike. So, you’ll find the thrilling Edge Adventure Park and serene Byron Beach Club among Carnival Cruise Line onboard events like the 80s Rock-N-Glow Party and daily free pizza between 11am and 4pm.

New Entertainment Lineup Confirmed for MSC Virtuosa from Summer 2025

With Dirty Dancing: In Concert also coming with Dirty Dancing-themed after-show parties and sing-alongs onboard, and Hall of Fame a celebration of pop legends beyond those featuring in the Abba and Michael Jackson-focused shows, it’s safe to say that there’s a lot to look forward to if you’re cruising on MSC Virtuosa anytime soon.
