Wonderful! Only issue was we had a panoramic stateroom deck 12, you could hear the guests in the next cabin. Needs more soundproofing!

I was not as impressed this time overall as standards lowered cabin cleaned late

Loved the ship A little dated in places Biggie was jacuzzi surroundings Entertainment was really good Dining room waiters were amazing Windjammer staff amazing Cruising Susan a great head of games. Big let down was that the bar staff were very slow on many of the bars But won’t let that put me off I’ll definitely cruise on this ship again

Nice ship poor restaurant food Complaint made

Really enjoyable 5 night cruise. The food was outstanding. Windjammer buffet was amazing. Evening meals in the dining room. Our waiters were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Waiters Francisco and Rohan deserve special mention. 10 out of 10 for their service at table. Will certainly consider Royal Caribbean in the future.

Independence needs a revamp. We had to request a new cabin after the one we were allocated had a badly cracked sink. This took hours to sort. The crew were pleasant, and the food of a high standard. But you get the feeling that Royal Caribbean prefer to keep their newer ships in the Caribbean as a priority. Rather than UK sailings The entertainment was okay but so much seemed centred around the High Street. area which often was crowded. Prices aboard were very expensive. I suggest that they take a look at Virgin Cruises which seem to have nailed it for the customers. Unfortunately for us my wife had food poisoning and we ended up in the infirmary where the crew there were very good and sorted it out. Come on Royal Caribbean, we know you can do better.

We certainly enjoyed our cruise at a very reasonable price. For a large ship there was plenty of seating and places to relax. We only used the buffet but it was fantastic - choice and quality and we have been on many cruises. Parking and reception was slick and excursions well organised with high quality guides. Staff everywhere on the ship lovely and helpful. Entertainment very good and varied. Cabin with balcony very comfortable but you are not in there long!
