The cruise was very good. The food in the main dinning room and the lido buffet was of a very good standard. We did not need to try any of the specialty restaurants. The entertainment was good in parts and not so good in others, The world stage had some excellent acts but also some not so good. The volume of the evening events in BB Kings and Rolling Stone was too loud. The cabin staff and those in the dining room were excellent. The shore excursions were good but rather expensive for what they were.

We loved the ship, the food was excellent & the entertainment in the bar areas very good. The show entertainment was mediocre, apart from that, Rotterdam was a very pleasant surprise.

Organisation excellent. Ship excellent. Staff great. Food disappointing often lukewarm. Entertainment poor except singer Parry. Excursions vastly overpriced and ordinary The Lido dining at breakfast was mayhem and stressful

The embarkation was smooth & efficient. The staff were fantastic at all levels. Entertainment range & quality was excellent. The food was always of a good quality with good choices. The ship itself was well presented and the stateroom was spacious and well serviced.

Excellent staff. Rolling stone rock room band were brilliant. All band members at the top of their musical craft.

Our back to back cruises in the Caribbean on the Holland America ship Rotterdam really did exceed our expectations! We had previously prioritised sailing with Celebrity but the Rotterdam was more than a match on several counts. The quality cabins, attentive crew and like minded passengers made the whole experience a joy. As always with Iglu the stays and transfers were smooth and of high quality only to be matched by the ship itself. We had the 'Have it All' package that led us to experience exceptional cuisine along with interesting and exciting excursions that may have otherwise not invested in. The food in all corners of the ship was special and the Dutch Cafe a pleasant retreat with bright and friendly service. Entertainment by the BB King Blues Band was of the highest quality and performed by exceptional musicians. It was only in the World Theatre that the quality of some of the performers was lacking and the inclusion of live backing music was missed. This was only our second cruise with Holland America and will not be the last!

Excellent ship and staff

Very nice ship, one can see it’s fairly new. The itinerary to Caribbean and Panama Canal is excellent, really worth visiting. Entertainment, was very good.
