Very enjoyable cruise with exceptionally friendly staff. A great itinerary for the opportunity to visit multiple historic towns. Good facilities on the ship ( more cozy than some of the larger cruise ships)

Third time on this ship,and still as good as ever. Staff food security fantastic. Ship and cabins were kept spotless. Itenary was very good. Well done Marella.

Mostly good staff excellent app poor

The cruise itself was good the crew were really good friendly and accommodating, but getting to the boat from the plane and through Corfu airport was horrible and at the end of the holiday was even worse more than 2 hours queuing outside the airport and at least one more hour to check in consequently the flight was delayed by 2 hours, Corfu is to small to cope.

We did the 1 week Adriatic Explorer from Corfu. Following some of the previous reviews seen we were a little apprehensive but we did not experience anything negative and fully enjoyed our week away. The itinery was amazing with each place so interesting. Our expectations were realistic. Although not cheap, it is not the height of extreme luxury, it was reasonable value for what we paid and more than acceptable. We liked the fact that it was not massive, like some other ships. Flights and transfers – these were with TUI. Both were delayed. Out was not too bad but returning the experience at Corfu airport was quite poor and verging on dangerous. They decided to keep dumping coach after coach of passengers outside in a massive queue that snaked along the front of the check-in building then around the sides and back again. 100s were out there for around 1. 5 hours, in the hot sun, little shade, and some with no water, suncream or hats. No-one came to check on us or update us. We didn’t get to sit for over 2. 5 hours until we got on the plane. Room – we had room 8105 which was a balcony room. Well located and plenty of room inside and on the balcony which had 2 chairs and a table. No noise from above or below. Loads of storage space, mirror with chair in front, small sofa. The balcony was great to sit out on especially first thing in the morning to watch us approach and dock at the next stop and also to see a sail away. Only gripe would be that there was no fridge in the room Carafes were provided to go and get drinking water from the water stations on each floor. Trips and Tours – All the stops were interesting with a lot of history. We went on several of the pre-arranged Marella Tours which were good and reasonable value for money. Food and drink – we felt no need to upgrade. All the inclusive drinks were more than acceptable and a good selection available from the beers, wine, spirits, cocktails, to sodas and coffee/teas but not top quality. Service not an issue and if busy going to the bar ensured you could get one quicker if necessary. The water fountains were okay to use to fill up the carafe provided in the room and drinks bottles we took with us. Same with the food which was always plenty, warm enough, fresh & good quality, and reasonable size portions. But not fine dining. We had breakfast everyday off the a la carte which had a special every day. We lunched from the Kitchens buffet, Snack Shack, Abeulas, or Nonnas. It was pretty much the same all week but plenty of different options to vary it. Every evening we went to the waiter served restaurants, mainly the Italian food Vista which always provided good food, wine, and service. One night we did Surf & Turf and the Porterhouse sharing steak was amazing but was over £30 extra each. Entertainment - we only ever walked through the pool area, not really our thing, so never really experienced what was going on there but plenty seemed to be enjoying themselves and there seemed to be plenty of sunbeds available but maybe not on the sea day. We would do the afternoon quiz and bingo in the Squid and Anchor whenever possible, mainly used the Summer House and Art Room in the evenings (live music from there was always good) and always went to the evening show in the theatre area which was always entertaining. Staff – all the staff, room stewards, bar staff, cleaners, waiters, chefs and kitchen staff, maintenance etc all worked tirelessly and provided a great and friendly/happy service. Everywhere was always spotlessly clean. They are a credit to Marella, their families, and themselves.

Cabin was good cabin staff were excellent food was good shows were pretty amateurish service in the restaurants were on the whole good service in the bars was very poor

Had a brilliant cruise on Marella Voyager The staff are always friendly smiling and polite Food is very good with various places to eat aswell as speciality dining Cabins are roomy and beds are comfortable There are lots of activities and games going on around the ship aswell as evening entertainment and live music .

Just returned from a weeks cruise on the marella voyager around the canaries. Great ship, lovely food and drinks and fab staff. The entertainment was good, particularly the bands and singers in the bars. Nice chilled atmosphere, lovely holiday.
