Had a brilliant cruise on Marella Voyager The staff are always friendly smiling and polite Food is very good with various places to eat aswell as speciality dining Cabins are roomy and beds are comfortable There are lots of activities and games going on around the ship aswell as evening entertainment and live music .
Just returned from a weeks cruise on the marella voyager around the canaries. Great ship, lovely food and drinks and fab staff. The entertainment was good, particularly the bands and singers in the bars. Nice chilled atmosphere, lovely holiday.
Thoroughly enjoyable cruise - good itinerary, excellent facilities on board, food of a high standard but most of all excellent staff in all areas. The Exchange experience was the only thing that was not as good as expected. Queueing for20 minutes to get in to a 90 minute experience, other attendees had received an invite and not paid and no choice if cocktails - the ones provided were not very nice. All other aspects of the cruise were very good.
Enjoyed it. Food comfort and entertainment all good. The trip in las palmas was enjoyable. Only disappointment was we ere only in las palma for half a day. Our hotel in north tenerief was exceptional. Tui blue atlantic
Last minute booking due to our cruise being cancelled. We were impressed by Marella Voyager. Had a problem with our cabin and had to change . This was done within a couple of days and we were much happier. The food and entertainment was very good. This was our first cruise with Marella and would now consider them in the future.
This our second time on the Marella Voyager and we had another great holiday. The staff on board are amazing as well as the food we loved. The ship has a nice relaxed felling which adds to the holiday. The only downside on this canaries trip was a couple of the ports weren't great for exploring straight off the ship, but you do have the option for excursion's.
I had a great time on Marella Voyager. Everything was well organised, the Check In went very smoothly, very well organised. I had a lovely cabin with a window on Deck 9. It was a good place to be for getting to and from the Theatre. Luggage arrived at the cabin quite quickly. The cabin crew were excellent, so helpful. As a solo traveller I attended some of the meet ups but not all. I found 6pm to be a bit early some days. Lots of different places to eat with many food choices on board. I used Kitchens for Breakfast, a buffet style but food was served to you rather than help yourself. I enjoyed Vista for my evening meal mainly. On Burns Night we had Haggis, Neeps and Tatties as a starter, it was delicious, so tasty. Embarking and disembarking were all so well organised with both going very smoothly. The sea was a bit choppy at times disrupting the itinerary on both weeks missing La Gomera the first week and La Palma the second week but better safe than sorry. This resulted in staying overnight in Gran Canaria and Madeira. The Entertainment team were excellent, shows were outstanding, day time events were great and well run. There was a medical emergency whilst on board needing to have a passenger airlifted to hospital. This worked so well, so well planned and carried out. Marella handled it brilliantly. Two weeks in warm, mostly sunny weather certainly made me feel so much better. I could have just stayed on for 2 more weeks
This was our second cruise with Marella. Last time it was Explorer 2 and this time Voyager. The embarkation in Tenerife went smoothly and we soon settled into our balcony cabin. The shower in the bathroom is the best I have had on any cruise ship. The food was generally good. Sometimes not as hot as it might to be. The Kitchens buffet offered good variety of food although it does get repetitive as the menu only changes a little each day. Latitude 53 was good as was the Italian. Entertainment was generally good. The shows were colourful and energetic. Shore excursions are reasonably priced and we enjoyed them. Sometimes more walking than publicised so my partner had to remain on coach. Overall great value for money and very enjoyable.
First time on a Marella cruise, we sailed on the Marella Voyager around the Canary Islands staff were very friendly couldn’t do enough for you in all areas ie bar staff restaurant staff entertainment staff and cabin staff who kept our cabin clean a tidy throughout the cruise ( we stayed in cabin 10004 ) me and my wife will definitely cruise again on a Marella ship.
