This our second time on the Marella Voyager and we had another great holiday. The staff on board are amazing as well as the food we loved. The ship has a nice relaxed felling which adds to the holiday. The only downside on this canaries trip was a couple of the ports weren't great for exploring straight off the ship, but you do have the option for excursion's.

I had a great time on Marella Voyager. Everything was well organised, the Check In went very smoothly, very well organised. I had a lovely cabin with a window on Deck 9. It was a good place to be for getting to and from the Theatre. Luggage arrived at the cabin quite quickly. The cabin crew were excellent, so helpful. As a solo traveller I attended some of the meet ups but not all. I found 6pm to be a bit early some days. Lots of different places to eat with many food choices on board. I used Kitchens for Breakfast, a buffet style but food was served to you rather than help yourself. I enjoyed Vista for my evening meal mainly. On Burns Night we had Haggis, Neeps and Tatties as a starter, it was delicious, so tasty. Embarking and disembarking were all so well organised with both going very smoothly. The sea was a bit choppy at times disrupting the itinerary on both weeks missing La Gomera the first week and La Palma the second week but better safe than sorry. This resulted in staying overnight in Gran Canaria and Madeira. The Entertainment team were excellent, shows were outstanding, day time events were great and well run. There was a medical emergency whilst on board needing to have a passenger airlifted to hospital. This worked so well, so well planned and carried out. Marella handled it brilliantly. Two weeks in warm, mostly sunny weather certainly made me feel so much better. I could have just stayed on for 2 more weeks

This was our second cruise with Marella. Last time it was Explorer 2 and this time Voyager. The embarkation in Tenerife went smoothly and we soon settled into our balcony cabin. The shower in the bathroom is the best I have had on any cruise ship. The food was generally good. Sometimes not as hot as it might to be. The Kitchens buffet offered good variety of food although it does get repetitive as the menu only changes a little each day. Latitude 53 was good as was the Italian. Entertainment was generally good. The shows were colourful and energetic. Shore excursions are reasonably priced and we enjoyed them. Sometimes more walking than publicised so my partner had to remain on coach. Overall great value for money and very enjoyable.

Good food, good service, good entertainment. It's an old ship and doesn't have the grand atrium and glitz and glamour of some modern cruise ships but it's well appointed with pleasant decor and decent public spaces.

Appreciated service in the buffet rather than serve yourself. Missed the carved meats at lunchtime to have with salads. Enjoyed the ship staff and entertainment excellent.

Yet again a fantastic well organised cruise from start to finish, even at Tenerife Airport which we were dreading, all went smoothly, transferred to the ship with ease and booking in process as good as always, food & service throughout the week was excellent, not too sure though about 'The Kitchens' on Voyager, waiting to be served rather then being able to help yourself, at the more popular serving stations there was always a queue. Entertainment top quality. Faultless experience as always, looking forward to the next.

Everything fine on cruise but when it came to disembarking we were left on our own, no one to direct us to the luggage holding bay . When we found someone we were sent to the wrong place and had to go to another place. Very distressing. A real letdown

The weather was poor which Marella had no control over of course. Entertainment overall very good. Great crew, great atmosphere and kept spotless. It lost a half star for the weather and the rest for some poor quality premium food. Lobster was inedible, scallops were tiny and stringy and although steak cooked perfectly the quality of the meat was below what I expected for the supplement paid. Lamb was top notch. Generally the fare on offer was pretty good and huge choice. Pizzas and breakfast excellent. Basic alcohol and wine on offer was very good too.

Great trip on Voyager around the Canary Islands. Lovely ship ,great staff all very friendly and helpful. Everywhere kept spotlessly clean around the ship and in cabin. Great choice of food both in restaurants and kitchen buffet area, all areas kept well stocked with both food and cutlery, crockery etc. Captain Chris often seen walking round, chatting with passengers, nice to see ! Osman and Dione kept our cabin spotless and lots of amazing folded towel animals turned up on our bed. We did have to miss our call at Lanzarote because of bad weather but it was best to be safe and remain at anchor in Gran Canaria
