Never been on a Marella cruise before. We have cruised a lot on Princess and Celebrity and I can honestly say that we could not fault anything on the Voyager. All of the staff that we had the pleasure of meeting were always very friendly and could not do enough for us, from the captain and his immediate staff to catering and our cabin steward. It was also nice to go on a smaller ship. Everything was very well organised. We shall certainly travel on Marella again 😊

Enjoyed the ship. Entertainment was very good. Good choice of excursions. The captain was very informative. Ŵe liked the concept of the kitchens. Only had one meal which was not very good in picadilly. The last meal we had in the vista was exceptional. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The inside cabin we had on deck 4 directly above the engine room was very noisy at night and we could not sleep properly because of it noise and vibrations inside the room. We complained to guest services and was initially told there was no more rooms avaliable. then on the 2nd day we were told we could move to another room, which we gratefully accepted. We had no further issues.

This was our first time cruising with Marella and we were not disappointed. We sailed with Marella Voyager from Corfu to Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia, also first time in this area. The destinations were eye opening and we would like to return to each of them for longer stays.
The crew on Marella Voyager were exceptional, everyone we met always greeted us with a smile and a friendly “good morning” or “good Afternoon”. While on cruises, we always eat in the buffet and so far from all the cruise lines we have travelled with Marella Voyager had the best buffet layout, it absolutely worked, there was never any queues to speak of, it was always very clean and tidy and again the crew in the buffet were great. There was always a good selection of food and unusually for a buffet, the food was always piping hot.
Embarkation and disembarking was very slick, probably the best we have encountered with any cruise line.
Our cabin was an inside cabin and very “standard” as expected because what can you do other than follow the industry standard. The cabin was very functional with plenty of storage, good lighting and good a/c. Our cabin crew were exceptional, Manji, Mark and Ankit were very friendly, very accommodating and most efficient when cleaning our cabin, nothing was too much trouble for them.
The entertainment in the theatre was a little below what we have been used to but still very good.
Like all cruise companies, their ships have included dinning options as well as options you have to pay extra for, it would be nice if there were some sort of notice outside the venues that indicated whether there were going to be a charge or not.
* Please note - Itineraries calling into Venice and Dubrovnik will incur a small tourist tax per person, this will be added to your onboard account during the cruise.
