Just returned from a 10night Southern Caribbean cruise on the wonderful Celebrity Ascent. The ship was amazing with a fantastic choice of dining options, absolutely first class buffet, endless quality entertainment, amazing Spa and most importantly, the service from staff was faultless. There was also never a shortage of loungers on board or seating areas - as quiet or busy as you prefer. We sampled the speciality dining in Fine Cut, Raw on 5, Rooftop Garden Grill and Le Voyage. All we're excellent but to be honest, the 4 A La Carte dining options were all extremely high quality. Upgrading to the premium drinks package was worth every penny - definitely must to keep control of your account!! Shore excursions were a little pricey but the 2 we booked were certainly very good - especially the local tour and rum tasting in Antigua. I could write a endless review but the best way is just to book a holiday on the Celebrity Ascent and see for yourself.

We have cruised with Celebrity several times before and have always found them to be wonderful. However Ascent was our 1st time on the Edge class and we were blown away by the fabulous design and decor onboard. The attention to detail is amazing. The restaurants are all wonderful offering fantastic quality food. The entertainment on board is amazing and there are several places where you can sit and listen to music- something for everyone. The martini bar is in the heart of the ship and has a great atmosphere. There are two small plunge pools along with the main pool and an indoor one. The spa is a lovely area should you want treatment’s although they are quite expensive. Wonderful coffee lounge where you can sit and watch the world go by. We would definitely recommend Celebrity and will be returning as soon as we can!

2nd time holidaying on the beautiful ship. Complete luxury with amazing staff who were always professional but friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Looking to book again on this ship, so that says it all

First cruise and we are hooked The retreat area was brilliant Service and staff could not do enough for you Highly recommend it

The ship was fantastic especially the quality of the cabin we had, which was a Stateroom Balcony. The only disappointment was the quality of the food, as the steak in the steak restaurant wasn't very good and the signature restaurants were all the same type of food cooked differently. Most of the staff were friendly, especially the cleaning staff. Overall a very good experience on the Ascent. In one of the bars, which specialised in Whisky, one of the waiters did not know what malt whiskey was!!

Ascent is a brilliant ship. Second time travelled on her. Most dining was fine, but Cyprus restaurant was like eating in the dark. Would recommend this ship. Entertainment was generally good but Elton John act was crass. Good set of fellow passengers.

This is the second edge ship that we have been on (Beyond last Oct). Have to say the Ascent was just marginally better. All staff were absolutely fantastic (Pratham our cabin service attendant especially) Main dining room staff were very attentive at all times and food was superb. Entertainment was exceptional. A big shout out to Captain Tassos who was absolutely amazing. All in all cannot fault anything

This was our first cruise with Celebrity on Celebrity Ascent and won’t be our last. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the ship and friendly attitude of the staff who would always go out of their way to make sure you were catered for. Having cruised with quite a few different cruise lines it’s always interesting to compare them all and how they each differ in their standard of service. One area where Celebrity definitely scored highly was for the standard of the food served in the main dining rooms which never disappointed. We ate in one of the main dining rooms,of which there are four on 10 evenings out of 11. We booked a table at Le Petit Chef prior to sailing as it was recommended to us for its novelty value. We would also recommend Le Petit Chef for the entertainment value and excellent food. Overall we highly recommend Celebrity Cruises as they exceeded our expectations.

Excellent ship with fantastic staff who attended every need. Entertainment was fabulous every night and dining out was a fantastic experience with wonderful waiters who went above and beyond.

The Celebrity Ascent is a beautiful ship great food and entertainment is amazing both in the theatre and in Eden. Staff and crew are so friendly cannot do enough for you the only thing I would say is that in the Martini bar there were times there werent enough staff and had to go to the bar to get a drink. Going ashore was easy and returning was easy
