The Ascent was a fabulous cruise ship. We enjoyed great food and entertainment. Couldn't fault the staff. Won't would to rush back to Istanbul or Naples--unless you use it as a means to get to Sorrento/Capri. Not a fan of the infinity balcony!!! Also avoid deck 12 if you want sun on your balcony as the over hang from the above deck blocks out the sun.

This is a beautiful ship: excellent cleanliness, service and food options. Cabin attendant was wonderful. I went to guest services a couple of times and they were very professional and supportive. We didn’t take part in activities but those who did appeared to enjoy them. I find Celebrity excursions very expensive so prefer to do my own. We didn’t take part one in Santorini, to avoid the queue at the cable car and it was an excellent trip. In towns with shuttle buses these were frequent. In terms of value for money we find the drinks and WiFi package to be expensive compared to other lines. We had Captain Tasos, who had a great sense of humour and heads a motivated and happy crew. Definitely recommend.

I personally liked the balcony even tho it wasn’t a full balcony just the window thst opened . The itinerary was incredible you could never get bored . The food was excellent . Staff very friendly and the camp at sea kids club was a real winner for our 7 year old son

Hi, I’ve just returned from an 11 night cruise on the ascent. I can honestly say that I can not find anything negative to say about this beautiful ship and its lovely staff. Wonderful shows and entertainment extremely professional. Beautiful displays of food constantly in the dining room. Well done celebrity.

Although quite stressful leading up to the cruise the actual cruise was wonderful. The ship was an incredible experience and probably the best ship I've ever cruised on. Would definetly recommend it. Both the facilities and entertainment were first class and the ports we visited were good with plenty of trips provided by Celebrity. And the crew on board were extremely friendly and helpful. All in all a great cruise and thankyou Iglu.

Beautiful ship, friendly staff and service. Best shows/entertainment I have experienced at sea, and the food was excellent, with plenty of choice. However, it's a "big ship" with thousands of people, and on sea days ("unless you get up at the crack of dawn") getting a sunbed with a little shade, or even a seat on the sun deck, or around the pool areas could be a fruitless challenge.

Terrible start to a cruise we looked forward to, having been told by yourselves we had the classic drinks package that we paid for celebrity x accent had no evidence from you so had to spend many hours trying to sort this out with guest relations, this was not the start we expected. We should have been enjoying the start of our holiday. We eventually after hours got sorted and upgraded to premium package to make sure no more problems so incured extra 480 Dollars for peace of mind. Not Happy.

A no hassle care free vacation booked with Iglu. Monica n Chris are better then my own family taking out n dealing with my techno fobia. I learned how to use the 24hr helpline chat about any of my booking concerns, chris came back with very direct promot responses with links of assistance. I learned how to print ,take care to remember passwords, find alternatives to a better understanding in 2026. Book with Iglu its slightly different but its like an agent chatting to you ,sometimes it gets in a loop n then u just raise a ticket n it still goes in a loop only because I was avoiding my action. Have to follow links, log in create pathways. Give yourself time n good reading glasses as the print on these e mails was a bit trying. With celebrity its nothing but 10* in all departments n I mean it. I am a very auditor type individual I look for something to report gaps in any system. I can only write with confidence nothing to correct A* n book because if u dont u r the loser in this short life on this beautiful planet. Enjoy life

The ship and staff were first class. Cabin lovely and food very good. Entertainment was also good. Overall no complaints
