Carnival Vista Reviews
View Cruise DealsWonderful time on Carnival Vista! The cabin very clean and the staff work tirelessly for your every need. The entertainment was amazing! The shows so professional and the dancers and singers were work class, Sky ride was good and Taylor very helpful. Shore excursions Rudy helped a lot too. Bar staff tended to your every need. The band asta le vista were brilliant. Would definitely go back.
A big thanks to Warren for organising our cruise and stay on 20th June on the Vista especially when you had to deal with two couples at opposite ends of the country. The Athens Gate Hotel for our overnight stay before the cruise was perfect it was right in the middle of Athens with the Acropolis as a backdrop and the Temple of Zeus at the front, the food in the rooftop restaurant was excellent the taxi transfers were on time we left the hotel at 12 noon and we were on board by 1.30pm. We are looking at another cruise now so you will be getting a call soon. Thanks again.
I was very lucky to be invited to spend 3 nights on board the amazing Carnival Vista. There are so many exciting activities on board from the first iMax cinema at sea, an impressive waterpark. A ropes course and Skyride. The food was exceptional and there was a great choice. Burritos at Blue Iguana and the mouth watering burgers at Guys Burger or if you love seafood then the seafood shack is a must. Every taste is catered for. The specialty dining I can highly recommend and 1 big tip is to share a cheesecake at Fahrenheit 555. It is huge. The adults only section Serenity is perfect and you definitely felt you were away from it all. The hammocks were very relaxing. The main pool area was great fun. The Cruise Director and his team made sure everyone was having lots of fun. A pre dinner drink at Blue Iguana or Red Frog is a must. Sit back and relax at sea with a cocktail in your hand. If you love movies then I highly recommend you watch a movie under the stars with popcorn and relax with a beautiful sea breeze. The on board entertainment was fantastic. Great shows and lots of choice. You can start at the Piano Bar and move on to Cuba to dance the night away at the Havana Bar. I loved all the outdoor space and Al fresco dining. Perfect for a summers evening in the Mediterranean or a night at sea in the caribbean. Cabins were a great size. Lots of storage space. I wouldn't hesitate to sail on Vista again. She is ideal for young families and couples.
I was lucky enough to be invited on board Carnival Vista for 3 nights around the Med and Vista certainly lived up to the brands strap-line ‘Switch on Fun’. There are so many exciting activities on board to choose from including impressive waterslides, the largest Imax at Sea and a SkyRide. I probably should have spent more time on the SkyRide to burn off all the fabulous food I sampled on board. I can highly recommend the Carnival chocolate melting cake, and the breakfast burritos, and the burgers at Guy’s Burger Joint and the stir fry at the Mongolian Wok, I think you get the picture, the food was amazing. If relaxing is more your style there are plenty of places to sit back and watch the world go by. One of my highlights was sitting up on deck watching Star Wars in the big screen under the stars. My only negative point is Carnival is not in the Med next year but if you’re looking to go a little further afield in 2017 then I would definitely recommend sailing on Vista.
I was lucky enough to spend time on Carnival Vista in the Med during her Maiden Season. This was my first Carnival cruise - it certainly won't be my last! The ship itself is large, brand new and brightly decorated with a Caribbean feel. You can totally relax, party, eat or play as hard as you like. We were pleased to find that the onboard 'adult-only' area was free to access - perfect for some peace and quiet. I would say that the amenities for both couples and families were on par. The food onboard was a delight. There's far more onboard than just a buffet for lunch: burgers, stir fry (fresh to order), burritos, tacos - all included. A culinary highlight was eating in the Italian specialty restaurant, Cucina del Capitano - fantastic food and great service! A final stand-out feature was the ship's Cruise Director, who chatted to everyone onboard, was incredibly funny - the real 'star of the show'; it was great to be around such a fun character. I'd definitely recommend this ship for anybody looking for a relaxed, friendly onboard atmosphere.
I was lucky enough to be shown around Carnival Vista in the ship yard at Montfalcone in Italy while she's being built. Already, you can see this will be an impressive flagship for the fleet. At 130,000 tonnes, there will be an abundance of new exciting facilities and features - the Imax Cinema, Sky ride thing and multi sensory water slide look to be some of the stand outs. Impressively, they showed us the wide range of new dining options available, such as the eastern seaboard style Seafood Shack, which is going to be a great addition to the burger joints, grills and other American signature restaurants. I was also really encouraged to see family cabins - which sleep up to a family of 5 without needing to upgrade to a suite, plus they are very usefully split with the bathroom / WC a la Disney Dream. All in all, it looks like Vista is going to be an excellent Mediterranean option for both families and couples for 2016.
