This was our first time on a cruise and we really enjoyed it. The boat was big enough to not feel crowded in any of the restaurants or bars, the only area we never got to sit at or use was the pool on the top deck because that was packed 100% of the time. The food was very good in all the restaurants, we particularly enjoyed the Italian. The staff had been trained to always greet you when you were passing by and they seemed genuinely friendly people and happy to be there. We have to give a particular mention to our 3 cabin stewards who on the first day introduced themselves and asked us our names, thereafter they greeted us by name every time we saw them and looked after us fantastically. Our cabins were immaculate and we had a beautiful different towel animal on our bed at night. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they were Vicky, Kyow and Larren, all 3 of them are great ambassadors for Marella. The entertainment was to a very high standard, we are not 'show' people but thought we should give it a go and went on 3 different occasions and was pleasantly surprised ! All in all it was a great holiday, the excursions were well planned and we took advantage of going out every day on a different one, seeing the sights and all of the local guides employed knew their stuff. The only thing I wouldn't do again is purchase the premium drinks package as neither of us drink spirits and the standard wines in all the restaurants were to such a high standard that it wasn't necessary, but you live and learn and this was our first cruise, so we didn't know what to expect.

Had a great time on my first cruise. all the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Vicky, Kyaw and Larren who had the dubious task of cleaning up my room. Sangita who gave me a great massage in the Spa and Jemma who served me my meals in the Piccadilly restaurant and was always smiling and attentive

This is the third marella cruises we've been on and have enjoyed all of them, even though the ships are of the older style they are super maintained and clean. All of the staff are very helpful and friendly and being a cricket fan I had great fun with indian bar staff.

The best cruise we have had from Check in to coming home. Exceptional staff, food, excursions (places visited) and a very cheery Captain! # On the whole a very happy ship !

All the ports of call were lovely,did a very hot trip to Pompeii & Rome,fully recommend. The crew were fantastic, always smiling & helpful,big shout out to our amazing cabin stewards,Endik,Sagar & Nikomang . First time cruising with Marella,thoroughly enjoyed.

This was my first time on a Marella Cruise, having been on Celebrity, Virgin Voyages and MSC, my expectations were quite low but boy was I wrong. The Ship is clean, staff are great, food is excellent main restaurant is the buffet market place is buffet with plenty of choice. You have Mediterranean at the back of the ship great at lunch as pasta cooked to order worth 10 min wait. In the pizza selection 3 different ones each day for you to help yourself. Panini of the day along with jacket potatoes, salads. The shake shack next to pool area hotdogs and burgers, chicken, boxed salads, plenty of fruit and healthy snacks available here and in the market place. Additionally choice of 3 additional speciality restaurants included (Vista, Piccadilly and Latitude) optional 3 more at a cost, (certainly not required by us as very happy with standard choice. I didn't like the soft drinks from the machines and luckily had premium drinks package allowing drinks poured from a can, premium also includes branded drinks, alcoholic drinks. The shows superb and the team should be in the West End Shows in London.

positives destinations good. . negatives ship offers all inclusive package but you are not allowed a drink in one of the bars if you haven’t up graded to premium which is a bit poor as not many bars ship

Entertainment was rubbish and far to loud cabin staff was excellent

Had a excellent time, all staff very friendly, courteous and efficient.
