Excellent crew and service. Warm welcome aboard. Crew motivated and helpful. Led from top with great Captain. Theo As members of Captains Club and Concierge Club we were well looked after eg heli pad for sail in / away with drinks. Nice drinks gatherings/ events . Thank you. 👏 Entertainment very good. Milos, the naturalist lecturer a fantastic and different asset. Ocean view food excellent. Good selection of excursions though mark up was high compared to walking off ship and paying at venue. Upcoming Refurb is good news as rooms a little tired. Shame glass blowing being removed as it is something different on a ship -it was booked up and popular. -being replaced with yet another restaurant Dining in main restaurant Epernay - service good but menu limited and dull and repetitive eg spaghetti bolognese/ chicken or steak and chips. Only 2 evenings of 7 felt like fine dining at end of week. French Rosé for drinks package had run out for whole cruise . Celebrity starting to feel like $$$ to eat well- need to go to speciality restaurants @ $60 + extra pp . Overall , a fantastic cruise thanks to a fantastic crew . Well done Celebrity Solstice 👏

We booked Aqua Class and ate in Blu restaurant for breakfast and dinner. We were thoroughly impressed with the level of attention that Ajay and Tsepi gave us particularly making sure that Gluten Free meals and replacements were available. They always greeted us with a happy smile and nothing was too much trouble 10/10!

Ship a little tired but due for refurbishment soon. Dining not as high quality as previous cruise with Celebrity. Staff and entertainment high quality. Venues excellent, particularly the Dawes glacier that the ship’s captain got us so close to.

The ship needs a refurbishment the balcony’s and its furniture are ready for the skip. The windows need a good clean. However the food and service was very good.

It is a good sized ship and it did not feel crowded most of the time. The food in Oceanview Cafe was good. We were lucky to be in a suite and was well served by Hilario, our butler. Dining in Luminae was excellent with no queueing and very attentive staff (Kiva, Alok, Arye and Buhle) and we did not have the opportunity to over eat. Having a break in Michael's lounge was most relaxing. Afternoon tea was so so but could be much better with clotted cream. Your entertainment guests like Andrew Lee and singer Nge were superb. Disembarkation was so smooth.

Cruise Ship is showing its age but is still in very good condition. Food in the specialty restaurants was excellent was the buffet but the MDR was not very good with average service but great sommelier. Friendly crew but service at bars not the best

We had a fantastic holiday, the ship, the staff, the quality of food, the locations we visited. There was 14 of us. The staff in particular around dining times was great.

Our second time sailing from Sydney on Solstice in 18 months. It was noticeable that the ship was looking more tired than our last cruise. We cannot fault the service from every member of staff that we came into contact with, and they are by far Solstice’s greatest asset. The ports of call did appear to be ones that would attract a lower mooring fee for Celebrity, i. e. Mystery Island, Vanuatu, which is an uninhabited island, and American Samoa which is an extinct volcano that appears to have limited excursion potential as there is only a narrow ribbon of habitation around the base of the mountain. The only place of interest within walking distance of the port was a Tourist information office with an island life display, but this was up two or three flights of stairs so wasn’t accessible for most visitors with mobility problems. The cruise itinerary had us dock in Honolulu and disembark in order to return home. There didn’t seem to be any consideration available to delay the return to the UK and enjoy the delights of Hawaii unless this was arranged by the guest themselves. We arranged for a pre cruise stay in Melbourne for eight days, and five further days in Sydney, including flights, but the first couple of Iglu agents we asked to assist in these arrangements were unable to help. Eventually we found an Iglu rep who was able to assist and everything was arranged satisfactorily. Overall the cruise was very pleasant and memorable.

Could not fault this cruise, staff were wonderful, food was excellent, good value for money. My only complaint was the cost of shore excursions, if royal carribbean researched the actual excursions further they would get a better picture, the excursion we had was actually very poor value, we were not informed that there was 100 steps to get to the temple, which I was unable to climb, and when my husband got to the top the gates to the temple were locked, celebrity should have checked the temple was open, so both my husband and I felt very cheated.
