Customer reviews for Ambassador Cruise Line
Had an amazing time from start to finish. First time on ambition and definitely wish to return. Had an inside cabin which was quiet and sufficient, much more space than we were expecting. All crew on board were amazing. Fabulous waiters in a Buckingham and all bar staff were attentive at all times. As for the performers, what can I say. Definitely west end performances. Fabulous singers and dancers absolutely fabulous. We had such an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed the sea days. Loved going to the choir was brilliant and so much enjoyed singing. Amazing time had throughout. Loved Honfleur and enjoyed the windmills and Edam trip very much.
The 'Ambience' is a relatively old ship, of some 34 years but one would not necessarily know this. My wife and I occupied an internal cabin without a sea view. We did not feel claustrophobic. Wonderful storage space. Suitcases fit nicely under the beds. Almost 60% of passengers return time and time again to the Ambience. A large Paladium Theatre. Lectures and shows are perfomed here, and there is waiter service. There are other activities throughout the ship the whole time. We liked the Centre Court. Prices are good. A mocktail is available for around £4. 50 and a pint of beer for under £6. The staff are friendly. We enjoyed the Captain's evening with free bubbly. One can eat in the restaurant as well as in the buffet. There is a fine selection of food. Coffee, tea, orange juice and water are available with the meals. Any other beverages have to be paid for. For those with no previous cruise experience, all passengers are issued with a card bearing a bar code, and when a purchase is made, this card has to be presented to the waiter. There is no exchange of money. Once the cruise is completed your bank card is debited. Check out the You Tube clips for this cruise company and voyages. We very much enjoyed entertainment and talking with other passengers. Thoroughly recommended.
