Do you have to purchase a drinks package for the whole cruise?
Drinks packages on Ambassador cruises are only available to purchase for the entire duration of the cruise.
Can you share drinks packages on Ambassador cruises?
No, you can’t share drinks packages with your fellow passengers. They are also not transferable. Drinks packages are also not refundable when cancelled within 14 days of departure.
Is there a daily drinks limit on Ambassador cruises?
There is a limit of 15 alcoholic drinks per day. Any drinks above this limit will be charged with a 50% discount.
How do you purchase an Ambassador drinks package?
You can purchase your Ambassador drinks package up to 7 days before your sailing date and this will be at a cheaper rate than onboard. If you book it within 7 days of sailing, you’ll have to pay the onboard price for your drinks package.

- Prices are subject to change and vary depending on duration of the cruise and whether you book ahead of time or onboard.
- Please note that the Ambassador Adventurers Package for children is only available on multi-generational cruises. All adults on the same getaway will need to also purchase a drinks package. Infants under 3 will not be charged and packages will not be added for them.
- Drinks packages that are available on cruises that are 2, 3 and 4 nights long are charged at a price that is per person, per cruise. Cruises 5 nights or more are charged per person, per night.
- Ambassador Expedition and Explorer packages are only available to guests that are 18+,
- Bottles of alcohol/soft drinks are not included in any of the drinks packages. All drinks are served by the glass only.
- If you wish to purchase a drinks package onboard, this must be done within 24 hours of embarkation.
- Drinks may vary by sailing and ship.
- There are no discounts on bottles of spirits, Champagne or wine.
- Bottled water in cabins isn’t included.
