Lovely ship and excellent staff. Have to wait an age for service in some of the bars though! Drinks work out expensive with the added 18% on top, so if you like a drink, a package would probably be advisable. Cabin smaller than expected for the added cost but very comfortable and clean all the same. Cabin steward was very attentive. Food and entertainment were exceptional

All of the crew that we met were very friendly and helpful. It’s a beautiful ship with great entertainment.

Ship was great, rather crowded on sea days & due to weather conditions we had 4 days at sea which was a struggle. No stops at Spain or Portugal as these had to be cancelled due to rough weather. Too many wheel chairs so access to lifts & moving around ship was difficult as 3,500 passengers all indoors wasn’t pleasant. Found casino area full width of ship with smoking facilities completely ridiculous as everyday we had to pass through this area unless you went up and then down! Otherwise found staff, cleanliness, food, entertainment excellent.

This was an excellent cruise, 🚢 . From the embarkation to the disembarking at ports and back at Southampton was slick and easy. The facilities on board were as good as any 5* hotel. The food was definately 5* in all restaurants we used and there were some amazing waiters in the MDR. The entertainment on board was of the highest standard and the entertainment throughout the ship was non stop …. you could never say you were bored !(unless you wanted to be ). Our deluxe balcony cabin was lovely and lots of room for hanging clothes particularly like the “walk in wardrobe”. A great balcony with comfy chairs and stools. Without a doubt would highly recommend The Sky Princess.

If you don't get drinks package, which on a 12 day trip costs about £1000 it's silly prices for drinks. I even found it hard to get free soft drinks, included in our holiday cost. We missed 2 ports of call, due to bad weather, so not their fault, but at next port of call it cost £50 for 2 days shuttle for 2 people. Everything costs with this line

Very disappointed with the experience on Sky Princess cruise to the Canary Islands in November. Not only we could not go to 2 ports it meant 3 days at sea in addition to the 3 days at sea on the way back. The captain decided to stay an extra day in Funchal which did not merit 2 days of going to shore. We had other issues and when bringing these to the attention of guest services, they were not that interested in resolving them. Food was average. Some crew members were unfriendly. Most activities aimed for 60+ so missed a fair few activities on offer. A lot of bars but under utilised as we were not drinkers.

First time onboard Sky Princess also as a solo traveller. Everything was well organised. I felt relaxed, reassured. Settled for restaurant on deck 6, walk in and shared tables with other guests. Buffet on deck 16 was busy. Plaza 5 I enjoyed being seated there and watching activities. Very good groups of singers and entertaining. 24hr Buffet, excellent and speciality coffees. Theatre held good nightly shows. I watched films in the theatre. Excursions were well organised with traveling solo. Reassured, guided through. Well thought out.

Fantastic could not fault anything top class

The Sky Princess is a beautiful ship. Fantastic crew and food. The entertainment was incredible. The cruise director was excellent and very friendly and took time to stop and chat . However I found the smoking fumes that drifted out of the casino very unpleasant. It affected my chest. The other thing that I want to mention is that I felt that the vista lounge is not the best venue for follow up acts as the viewing is restricted due to the configuration and the railings . On a personal note we won a raffle prize of 100 dollars off our next cruise and 300 dollars on board spending, but was then told that the onboard Spend was not for Uk citizens. We have received the 100 dollars so that has been disappointing Having said all that I would recommend the Sky Princess and would not hesitate to use princess cruises in the future.
