Fabulous ship. Food in MDR was excellent. Balcony cabin spacious, plenty storage and kept spotless by steward. Plenty entertainment to suit all ages and tastes.

Excellent cruise . Treated like royalty . Have no bad words to say. Everything ran smooth and was easy to follow, we had major concerns beforehand after reading posts online but these were totally unfounded. The drinks package was expensive but totally worth it.

First time with Royal Caribbean but have been on 5 other cruise lines. Odyssey of the seas is very well suited for families with children, and grandparents with grandchildren. Good entertainment and food, both typically American orientated. Went end of January so didn't experience the vessel with many children but we can image what it must be like with lots of kids running about, and that would not be for us in our 70's. Likewise not many of the facilities were for us to use but were good viewing.

A lovely cruise on a great ship. Comfortable stateroom always kept clean by the hard working attendant and loads of amenities, activities and entertainment. Main dining room provides good food but you can get that little bit extra at the speciality dining choices. We particularly enjoyed the sushi option at Izumi. There are plentiful bars to frequent each with a different vibe to suit. Pretty good and varied entertainment in the theatres, bars and promenades, too. Something for everyone from calming classic, madcap and hilarious comedians to enrichment lectures. Only downside was the choppy Atlantic waves but hey, who can control Mother Nature!?

This was a 14 night transatlantic cruise from Rome to New York. The ship is immaculate. We were unable to go to Valencia because of the floods but went to Palma di Majorca instead which was arranged at short notice. We hit bad weather during the transatlantic bit and the captain announced that we were diverting to avoid worse weather. Very safety conscious. We also diverted to the Azores to disembark someone who needed to go to hospital. The Captain told us there are 3 doctors and 5 nurses on the ship but this person needed to be in hospital. The food is acceptable but choice and standards are less than they used to be on RCI. The buffet was good. Fresh fruit was excellent. Cheese choice very poor. Dining room service very good but menu a bit repetitive. The ship is excellent and this was the best cabin we have ever had ( 28 th cruise). Spacious, lots of storeage and brilliant bathroom. Plenty of coat hangers! The standard of shows was very good and the entertainment programme good. My family enjoyed the dodgems , quizzes , sky diving and trying to play pool in choppy seas. The RCI app is a great idea but needs more attention as messaging is a bit unpredictable. Crown and Anchor perks worked well for us although there were so many higher status people that we were excluded from some perks. Our fellow passengers were predominantly from the USA although the Captain said the passengers were from 75 nationalities. Because this was a transatlantic our fellow passengers were mainly adults.

Had one of the best holidays in a long time! & can’t speak highly enough of Iglu. You really made our holiday special, from choosing a beautiful hotel in Rome, to transfers & of course, the cruise. The ship was lovely, albeit my favourite still has to be Oasis of the Seas, purely because of Central Park, but this ship was nice & contemporary & because it’s smaller than Oasis, the crew seem to engage with passengers more which was great for us. I think the only let down was food & the shows. Food was nice, but nothing outstanding which you would expect for what you pay to cruise & The book was the main show on this ship which was slightly bizarre & a little disappointing. That said, Showgirls made up for it!! All in all, a great ship, with great ports. Only did one R.C excursion which was around Santorini, but the two stops we had were too short. By the time we walked from the coach to where we needed to be it was almost time to start walking back to the coach again as we only had 1hr in each place hence wouldn’t recommend this excursion.

The ship was an outstanding with a lot of different facilities, restaurants, activities etc. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. The excursions were lovely, however, a little pricey!
