In May, Iglu Cruise returned to the river landscape, launching a new river collection with three lines: Amawaterways, Emerald Cruises and Scenic.

Offering a myriad of options, with sailings along some of the world’s most scenic and iconic rivers, from the Danube to the Rhine, this exciting announcement offers guests a fantastic alternative to ocean cruising. A unique way of seeing the world, river cruising gives you the opportunity to visit the heart of extraordinary destinations and to be in the middle of the action.
Explora IV Now on Sale
In May, Explora IV went on sale, offering a variety of spectacular itineraries, including both no-fly and fly cruises. Part of Explora Journey’s ultra-luxury fleet, renowned for its high crew-to-guest ratios, opulent accommodation options and sensational dining, this beautiful vessel is due to set sail in 2027.

An all-suite ship, onboard, you’ll find 6 restaurants, 12 bars & lounges, and the sumptuous Ocean Wellness Spa among a variety of exceptional features that are bound to impress.
MSC Cruises Orders Two More World Class Ships
In the next few years, a huge number of ships will be setting sail, and three of these will sit within MSC Cruises’ World Class fleet alongside MSC World Europa, MSC World America and MSC World Asia.

In March, MSC Cruises published a press release stating that in 2027, MSC World Atlantic would be joining the fleet and would offer cruises around North America. And if that wasn't exciting enough, in May, MSC Cruises had another update; two more ships have been ordered and are scheduled to set sail in 2029 and 2030.
Currently known as 'World Class 5' and 'World Class 6', they are set to accommodate 5,400 guests each, will be powered by LNG, and are due to be constructed at Chantiers de l’Atlantique.
