We had. Lovely cruise with Princess. However, we were very surprised at the hidden cost of some things. We had a fabulous meal in the Crown Grill but horrified that there was a $55 cover charge before we even sat down. Also we thought it a bit unnecessary to be charged a service charge to have a drink brought to us from the bar, only 20 paces away. I know we could have had various packages but from speaking to other passengers they also got various charges. And as for the gratuities for the waiters/cabin boy etc I think that is excessive. We did manage to cancel this arrangement and tip those who gave us good service, but for you to dictate the amount we should pay, I think is wrong. If you insist that we pay that then why don’t you just add it to the cost of the cruise. All these are negative things but I have to say all in all we were very satisfied with our holiday.
