Costa Luminosa features a pick of the most exciting innovations introduced on Costa Cruises' ships. This includes the Samsara Spa (one of the largest spas at sea at over 23,000ft²), a central pool area extending over two decks fitted with a retractable magrodome and giant movie screen and a Grand Prix race car driving simulator. In addition, Luminosa has several exclusive innovations introduced for the first time on the Costa fleet, including a golf simulator.
It isn’t just the facilities which make this such a great cruise ship. The interiors are designed by the architect Joe Farcus, offering total comfort and style, with guests able to walk around all of the passenger decks from bow to stern, making for an unforgettable voyage experience.

Dining
Boasting four restaurants, Costa pride themselves on the delicious cuisine Luminosa offers guests from morning to evening.
The main dining room is Taurus, with its spacious two-deck layout meaning guests never feel crowded during mealtimes. With buffets for breakfast and lunch, the main event is dinner time when diners can sample all sorts of European cuisine, especially authentic Italian dishes.
If you’d rather enjoy a more casual, buffet-style meal time, Ristorante Buffet Andromeda is guaranteed to please. With stations for everything, from pasta to pizza and everything in between, including a fresh salad bar if you’re looking for something a little lighter, you’re sure to be wanting to go back for seconds (and maybe even thirds!)
There are also two speciality restaurants onboard Costa Luminosa. The Luminosa Club Restaurant combines delicious steak and seafood dishes with spectacular views. Alternatively, the Costa favourite Samsara Restaurant makes an appearance, with its tempting offerings of Mediterranean and Pacific fusion dishes.
Entertainment
By night entertainment onboard Costa Luminosa is all about the parties and piazzas. Choose from Piano Bar, jazz, classical, latin or ballroom dancing as you groove the night away. In addition, there are cocktail parties indoors and deck parties outdoors, meaning the night is long and full of surprises onboard this impressive ship.

we had a great time on our cruise only one tour on thursday29 th we went on BUDVA AND KOTOR WE COULD NOT HEAR OUR GUIDE AND WHEN WE CAME OFF COACH WE COULD NOT KEEP UP WITH HER .WE GOT BACK NEAR SHIP AND SHE WAS GOING TO KOTOR WE LEFT TOUR AND WENT BACK ON BOARD SHIP WE REPORTED THIS ON BOARD
Good cruise
Enjoyed the cruise, everything very organised, cabins clean, ship clean, food excellent. Our only complaint was there was not enough bar staff on duty at peak times (when excursions were coming back) it took 1/2 hour to get a drink most days, queing 4 deep at the bar. We had paid for the drinks package but then could not get served with the drinks.
Would definitely go on another Costa cruise. Everything was perfect and the staff on board were lovely and helpful. The ship was very clean and we had an amazing time. We were well looked after throughout the holiday.
