A fantastic cruise with friendly staff and great food. A couple of minor criticisms only one cider even with best drinks package and not enough outdoor seating areas plenty of sunbeds but not table and chairs

Very enjoyable 15 night cruise. Ship excellent, so the crew, and the food, the latter more like 5 star with plenty of choice & very hygienic after their issues earlier in the spring. We really like the fact there aren't many days at sea, & most days have a different port-of-call.

First time with Ambassador. Ambition is a smaller ship, so no casino, smaller theatre, few speciality restaurants. Boarding was incredibly fast with no queue to mention at Dundee. Cabin available immediately and bags arrived quickly. Food choice and quality excellent throughout although buffet menu same as main restaurants so no alternative if not to your taste. Drink selection not the best and more limited in buffet and theatre. No Drambuie (odd omission) but our package included coffees etc. Entertainment excellent in theatre. Never tempted to leave. Various music good. Quizzes well done with no pronunciation issues. All staff friendly and helpful. Ports good except for Bergen. Not allowed to dock there so bus trip to pay for. Treated as an at sea day. Departure chaotic. Long queue if you choose to walk bags off early, which many do as assigned time can often be well after 11am. Normal cabins vacated by 8am and seating fills up. Docked at 10am.
