Entertainment. With the exception of one guest Pianist/ Vocalist the entertainment in the Theatre lacked imagination & imo was not the quality I expected on a "Luxury" Cruise. This was disappointing. Food & Drink. The speciality dining options were excellent. This was a cruise taking in Xmas but this was not made much of. The drink options were plentiful & quality. Excursions. Mostly enjoyable. One , the group was too big for the guide to keep track of everyone. Staff. Exceptional. Service 10/10. in Cabins & Bars & Restaurants. Having spoken to guests onboard who were repeat cruisers on this ship they agreed that this trip was somewhat lack lustre & they had much better experiences on previous trips. Seems we were unlucky but we will not be returning to find out. Cabin. Our initial Cabin had temp. repairs to the ceiling which became evident at night creaking & groaning. (Wooden wedges between the wall & ceiling) It was clearly an ongoing problem & the suite should not have been allocated. Maintenance said the ceiling needed taking down to resolve the issue. We did move to another Suite luckily. Spa. Beautiful facility. Towels plentiful, but Spa-Swimming pool out of use for repairs. Sun Loungers. Very comfortable. Lots of towels.

Great cruise but transfers by Iglu were a disappointment, would of dropped us at airport about 4 or 5 hours before check in would have opened, had to make my own arrangements for alternative with the ship direct (thank goodness they were ready to help), Iglu denied any credit/refund for not using their inappriate timed transfer. Won't be using Iglu any more.

Overall we were very happy with the cruise and the pre and post cruise stays. The room in Athens was rather strangely decorted with plain wallpaper and then floor to ceiling drawings on the walls that looked as though had been done by young children. . . . very odd. The public areas were clean and the service was good and there was a varied buffet breakfast. The suite and all areas of the ship are very spacious and luxurious. The storage space in the concierge suite is amazing and our balcony was wider than that of the suite adjacent to us which was a bonus. There is so much hanging and draw space and the bathroom also had an exceptional amount of storage. The ship was full but never felt crowded. The champagne on ice in the suite on arrival is a very nice touch! Also a varity of fruit every day. The tours were rather disappointing and whilst the guides were very knowedgeable they offered little to no warning of steps, uneven ground and poor lighting conditions to clients especially those with walking difficulties or problems with their sight. The written information that is provided on the tours could be improved. Only one of our guides used a mic and gave us earpieces and one other guide used a mic. This made listening to them quite difficult in crowds. We visited the theatre 5 times on a 12 day voyage. The shows were only 45 minutes long. . . the best being the " Adele" tribute. Our cabin attendants were very helpful and offered an excellent service as did the bar and restaurant crew. We were very happy with the service that Iglu provided in the booking of this cruise and all the transfers to and from airport to hotels and port either end of the cruise.
