Wonderful cruise with a wonderful itinerary around Japan and South Korea. We had an outside cabin. Was clean and comfortable. The food was fantastic with plenty of choice. We also dined in the Brazilian steakhouse. It was lovely and tasty. Staff were fantastic, always polite and helpful. Iglu cruises were fantastic for putting the whole package together with flights and hotel stays. It really was a fabulous holiday

2nd time cruising with Norwegian,we won't go with them again. The sun is a very old ship. Food in the speciality restaurants were very good,we ate all our meals in the MDR, food was good but repeated itself too often. entertainm was dire, one act was a female singer who's claim to fame was being a runner up in a singing competition 10 yes ago! Surely you can do better than that, the shows were very dull and the entertainment manager shocking and only interested in himself he was far too flamboyant.
We attended a nightly trivia quiz which took 15 minutes, staff just read out questions and then gave the answers,it was very boring, they had no personality at all. Cabin was stuffy despite having a balcony
Excursions ridiculously expensive, far cheaper to use viator or get your guide, most people we spoke to had organised their own excursions. We paid £400 to see Hiroshima and could have got a taxi to it for a fraction of the cost

We enjoyed our cruise to Korea and Japan but although our guides on the tours were very good the cost of the tours was exorbitant. Not good value for money.
The lack of a daily newsletter unless you were not English speakers was very inconvenient and meant that you had to use the app constantly or rely on taking pictures of the newsletter displayed near Guest Services.
