Car parking

Car parking at the port or airport is not included in the cost of your cruise, and this cannot currently be booked through Iglu Cruise. However, please contact us after you have made your booking if you would like to add this to your package, so we can discuss options. An approximate cost for parking during a cruise is around £12 to £20 per car per day. Alternatively, transfers can be arranged.

Excursions

If you would like to do any excursions/tours while docked these will be an additional charge. Excursions/tours can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package. Alternatively these can be bought while on the ship but may be more expensive than pre-booking.

Transfers (home to port)

Ship ok, not the best ,not the worst, holiday spoiled by tui losing our luggage for the first 6 days . Cabin staff ,as always , very good. Onboard entertainment mixed , one decent band , broadway type shows saw two , both ok but not stunning . Felt the exchange was a bit of a waste of a venue. Cabin 9136 nice with great balcony .

Amazing cruise along the Dalmatian Coastline. Great itinerary with beautiful places to visit in Italy (Trieste), Croatia (Zadar & Split), Slovenia (Koper) and Montenegro (Kotor). Cabin a bit smaller than we thought and noisy due to position at aft of ship and bed harder than would have preferred. Specialty dining superb. Entertainment Superb. Service Superb.

I had issues with the cabin, I raised this as a complaint on board the ship, I am still awaiting a response. Overall the cruise was satisfactory although it did feel a bit like "Butlins at Sea"!!

Facilities on board, on the whole, were excellent. The entertainment team were the absolute best at sea. Cabin staff did a brilliant job of keeping our cabins very clean, always respected our privacy and were always happy. The folded towel animals were a pleasant surprise each night. The buffet was well supplied and usually hot, although the food was very repetitive. Cuts of pork or slices of chicken would have been nicer than shredded pork and chicken whenever they were on the menu. Breakfasts were amazing. Disappointing to find that ALL of the soft drinks machines were out of order (supposedly for maintenance ) for the last 2 days of the cruise. Yes, we could get it at the bar, but our food was cold by the time we went to the bar. Was it necessary to have all of the machines unusable for 2 days? Having allergies, we are aware of what we can and can't eat but when visiting the restaurants there was a fuss every day on what we were allowed to eat and we were made to feel embarrassed on each of the 3 occasions we ate in the restaurants. We completed our menu choices by 10am on the day, yet when sat at the table we were told that our choices weren't suitable for our allergies. My sister is highly allergic to alcohol, somehow 'Sulphites' became her allergy and she wasnt even allowed chicken liver patè - which she had eaten in the buffet with no adverse consequences. The Navigator App never worked for the whole cruise on my sister's phone. It isnt particularly user friendly, and you have to sign in every day with your cruise number, name and date of birth. Surely it can be programmed to make it easier to use? Air conditioning in cabin too hot on lowest setting. Engineers came twice but no improvement. Didn't go on any excursions so can't really rate them. All in all, value for money was good, the ports visited excellent, entertainment team amazing but would think twice about using Marella again.
