Everything was almost good. It was our first cruise, combined with a 7-night stay in Punta Cana.
Let’s start with the ship. Yes, it isn’t modern it’s about 30 years old, and you can see that. But overall, it wasn’t a big problem. We had a balcony cabin, which was good. The staff were amazing I’d give everyone 200 stars.
The food, however, was very average. Even in the restaurants where you have to pay extra, the quality wasn’t impressive. Compared to the buffet in Punta Cana, the difference was huge. On the ship, the fish felt very basic, while in Punta Cana the buffet had lobsters every day, prawns, different types of fish, a huge selection of meat, pizza, and more.
The entertainment was boring. There were the same 4–5 musicians rotating between different locations, with nothing new. The bands were very low level honestly, some street musicians in London are much, much better.
Thank God there was a disco bar at Bar 11. At least there was one place where you could listen to proper music from the 80s and 90s and actually dance.
The pool situation is a very important topic. We expected it to be busy, but I didn’t expect people to queue before breakfast, drop towels on sunbeds, and then occupy them forever from morning until sunset. It didn’t matter if there was strong wind on deck or intense sun. Pensioners lying there wrapped in towels all day was quite funny to watch.
During the cruise, we were still excited exploring new islands and new places so we tolerated everything. But now, looking back, I can say that for our next cruise we will probably choose a different ship and a different cruise line. I expected slightly better overall feelings.
P. S. forgot to mention about excursions. They are quite expensive and you always with the group. So we didn’t took any. We rent a car in Curaçao, we took taxi in other ports and we made our own excursions much cheaper even with the hired car.

This was our 1st cruise. We had a fabulous time. Staff were really friendly & we felt really looked after. Our only negative was the constant trying to upsell. We had to upgrade our drinks package for the coffee bar to be included.

Service was fantastic in the mdr special thanks to I Made WAYAN and their team. The entertainment team were exceptional and so very talented! Spa treatment was the best (full body massage) special thanks to Yasmin and Vanessa
