Very good cruise for price paid especially as everything was included in price (flights, transfers, food and drinks). We upgraded to the premium all inclusive which we did use but could probably have got away with the standard (depends if you are picky on the brand of spirit you like or whether you prefer premium coffees). Food quality good and perfectly acceptable although maybe not quite as high quality as some other cruise lines we have experienced previously, although having a wider choice of venues to eat was better. I will definitely be looking into further cruises with Marella.

We have been on the Explorer 2 on two holidays and thoroughly enjoyed both. This was our first cruise on Discovery 2 and were pleasantly surprised by the interior of the ship. Everything was so pristine on every deck, our cabin was ideal for us and well maintained. Restaurant 47 was up to 5 star rating, with menus making it difficult to choose from and service was excellent. The evening shows in the theatre were of very high standard and very enjoyable every night. The theatre itself was stunning, a lot of time and effort had obviously gone into it's construction, no matter where you sat you always had a clear view of the stage.

The ship is well maintained and all the staff are brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble. We enjoyed all the different restaurants and buffet. Have been on numerous Marella Cruise shiips and had a great time on all occasions. Very well organised from boarding the ship to departure.
* Please note - Itineraries calling into Venice and Dubrovnik will incur a small tourist tax per person, this will be added to your onboard account during the cruise.
