We both enjoyed Eclipse, The food was excellent as always, our Celebrity excursions were the best we have done for a few years! The staff were wonderful always happy and ready to help.
My only criticism was not being able to check in for our flights with jet2. On past cruises we have been able to check in and then to pick our seats and order and food. I tried talking to Iglu, celebrity flights and direct to Jet2 however no one could give me a locator code-to check in with jet2. As we are both nearly 80 I really would have liked to check in if only for peace of mind.

Celebrity Eclipse is a beautiful ship with Celebrity Edge (twice) so were not sure if Eclipse would not be as nice. no way. The ship was very glamourous with an amzing dining room (much nicer than the Edge dining rooms. The open glass lifts were much nicer on Eclipse too, being able to see all floors of the ship. The rooms on Eclipse were a little dated compared to Edge but still very functional and well kept and clean. The entertainment on Eclipse wasnt up to the normal Celebrity standard

It was all very good. And met my expectations, as I cruised on the celebrity edge a couple of years ago
