Our first no fly cruise. The ship is perfect. Well maintained and beautifully decorated. The staff are attentive and professional and are eager to help. The standard cabins are a spacious, with triple wardrobe space & plenty of storage. The food and dining experiences are of superb quantity, fab after dinner drinks trolley service to finish off the meal. Entertainment is very enjoyable and plenty of options to spend your free time doing activities or relaxing.
We loved the ports & scenery, a great mix of scenery and culture. The weather was also very kind to us too. We greatly enjoyed our Nordic Adventure.

Excellent 8 day cruise on the beautifiul Bolette out of Liverpool. Really easy to check in, straight to the cabin, luggage arrived very quickly. Plenty of hanging space & hangers, plenty of draws. Our bathroom had recently been refitted and was a good size. Beds were very comfortable we were on Promenade deck. Took a while to get the air con to our desired temp but once set was good. The ship is stunning and easy to get around, the staff were always polite and helpful, the entertainment team were the best. Special shout out to Keane and Corey who were the best , fabulous singing voices, so funny and just lovely people. The food in the buffett for breakfast and lunch was well presented with plenty of choice and good quality. The food in the main resturant at night was some of the best we have had on a cruise. Nice to have drinks included with the meals. The cost of the drinks at the bars were comparable to our home town so no complaint there at all. The destinations were beautiful and well picked. The only complaint was the cost of the excursions. Yes it is Norway but even so cost put us off certain trips. The trips we did were with highly competent guides who not only made it interesting but fun as well, Food that was provided on each trip was fantastic and nice to eat local food. Good to also get local troll stories. The activities on the ship were varied and interesting. Particularly liked Davids lectures and insights to be an Brit living in Norway. We enjoyed our first trip with Fred Olsen so much that we will definitely be booking another one.

Fred Olsen is a very old style cruising and I love it, Food is great and I like the fact that you get Free Drinks (Wine, Beer at least) with Lunch and Dinner. Further there are now no Gratuities. The Cruise itself is great you get to see lots of wildlife and beautiful views. Very happy with the choice of ports, very pretty and enough to do however not sure the trips are up to much but thats a very personal thing. Service on board is very good and I was also impressed with the quality of entertainment. Weather can make a big difference and we were lucky.

Excellent cruise, with excellent crew and facilities.
Just a couple of minor grouses: missed seeing Fingal’s Cave as it was fairly early in the morning, while a tip-off the day before would have been useful, and 8pm dinner is too late for us, but there were earlier alternative restaurants.
