We started at Niagara Falls then travelled by Amtrak to New York before boarding the Valiant Lady to head to Halifax and back. On the last couple of days we were caught up in the storms that battered the east coast of America. The Valiant Lady was superb in the bad weather - it's a modern ship with stabilisers, which really worked. Food on board was absolutely brilliant and so was the service. We took trips in all the ports and these were good but pricey. Hats off to Iglu customer care - we arrived late to port which meant we missed our transfer taxi. The replacement Uber has already been refunded by them. Would highly reccomend booking with Iglu

Great staff and food ,excursion's a bit expensive- you can get much cheaper yourself -and as I was a solo sailer it also makes it a bit expensive, great fun tho and great destination and itinerary

Dining was very disappointing. You could book on the app despite being encouraged to by both the email and the app. I could foresee a petition whereby you would never be able to ear in your restaurants. But f you were one of the last to board the boat you might not even be able to back at the Restaurants This is a dealbreaker for us and I dint think we would risk going a fourth time. Selection was good but food was often service cold

We thoroughly enjoyed our first cruise experience, it was a comedy themed cruise so the entertainment was excellent. Sea deck cabin was spotless and serviced each day to a high standard. Controls on the pad were easy to follow, do try cinema mode if watching a movie and be amazed ! Vast selection of food, fine dining in restaurants hard to book but galley food was tasty and good quality. Adult only makes it ideal if you don't want kids running round, selection of bar areas to suit all needs, live music excellent apart from one group. Free WiFi sufficient for messages and calls, bar tab worked well, would book again on Virgin.
