Tips

When booking the Princess Standard fare, a daily crew appreciation charge is applied to your account depending on your cabin category. If you opt for the Princess Plus or Princess Premier fares, these daily service charges are fully included in the cost of your cruise.

Specialty Dining

While dining at speciality restaurants usually costs extra on board, upgrading to the Princess Premier fare fully includes unlimited speciality dining throughout your cruise.

Car parking

Car parking at the port or airport is not included in the cost of your cruise, and this cannot currently be booked through Iglu Cruise. However, please contact us after you have made your booking if you would like to add this to your package, so we can discuss options. An approximate cost for parking during a cruise is around £12 to £20 per car per day. Alternatively, transfers can be arranged.

Excursions

If you would like to do any excursions/tours while docked these will be an additional charge. Excursions/tours can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package. Alternatively these can be bought while on the ship but may be more expensive than pre-booking.

Transfers (home to port)

Transfers from your home to the port or airport aren't included but we can help organise coach transfers, taxis etc to make your life easier. Please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package.

Crew great. Entertainment poor except for Irish bar which was brilliant. Ship excellent, Continental Cafe on Star was better than other Princess ships. Food same quality as other Princess ships. Could be improved with less repetition in main dining rooms. Overall very good but some areas need improvement.

Being my first cruise, I have nothing to compare to however the ship was brand new and in immaculate condition. The cabin was as expected in terms of size, however modern, plenty of storage for a 7 day cruise and very clean. The crew are incredibly polite and efficient. Our stewardess was very friendly and did a great job. There were a lot of entertainment options on board and the cruise director Cole is very good and funny. The itinerary was great. We had 4 port days and 2 sea days which was a really good split and found plenty to do and eat off and on shore. Overall a great experience and would cruise again.

It’s a nice clean and modern ship, the staff were good and there are plenty of them. The reason I have marked it down is that the layout is really weird. There are some parts of the ship you have to go up and down to find. The spa is hard to get to, and the fwd rooms on deck 5 are a right game to find. The lack of indoor pool is odd too.

A superb ship, very modern throughout and offering a great range of different choices of eateries and bars. The ship is very easy to navigate and based upon size does not feel overcrowded. The hidden gem of this Cruise Liner is it is manned by amazing staff, always making sure that you have a wonderful experience and create amazing memories.

Princess Cruises offers both traditional dining and their flexible 'Anytime Dining'. Anytime Dining is available from 5:30 to 10 p.m. On most Princess ships the traditional dining times are as follows: Early seating is at 5:30 p.m. 1st seating is at 6 p.m. 2nd seating is at 8:15 p.m.

Princess Cruises offers a wide range of dietary options, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and low-sodium choices. Guests can notify the cruise line in advance, and the onboard dining team strives to cater to individual dietary requirements.

Cruises to and from Southampton have no specific baggage quantity limit but require each piece to weigh no more than 23kg for ease of handling. When flying to or from the ship, whether via charter or scheduled flight, luggage restrictions generally range from 20 to 23kg per person. Ensure no individual item exceeds 23kg to facilitate safe handling by the ship's crew.

Princess Cruises embraces a smart-casual approach for evenings, with occasional formal nights. Smart-casual attire includes dresses, skirts, or slacks for women, and collared shirts with dress pants for men.

Iglu Cruise has a team in place to provide necessary assistance to make your holiday run smoothly. If anyone in your party requires medical or mobility assistance, notify your Cruise Specialist at the time of booking or as soon as possible if circumstances change after booking.
