Seabourn Ovation Reviews

Our Caribbean cruise on the Seabourn Ovation was wonderful. The crew go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is outstanding and the cabin was spacious, with luxury amenities and an extremely comfortable bed. The only thing that stops me giving five stars is the ship rolled a lot which you don't get on the larger ships.

Food excellent Staff were incredible, went out of their way to help and make your stay special. Balcony cabin deck 6 was lovely, very clean and comfortable with spacious balcony. Wines were good, not sure we would conclude that all the included wines were fine wines. Guest services provide a list of included wines so you can opt for something other than what is recommended with meals. Generally shows and entertainment were good, although design of seating and tables was a bit odd in th salon. Ross entertainments manager was super, as was cruise director, very friendly, however some of the cruise singers and dancers were a bit offhand and were not very inclusive. Favorite entertainment was steel band on deck and sailaway party on deck. Excursions bit pricey for what they included. Only one excursion offered in St maarten. Lack of suitable excursions for disembarkation day considering our flight wasn't until 8. 30 pm Loved size of ship, easy to navigate, embark/disembark. Had a great time, favorite ports were Antigua and Bequia and the beach club day on st. Kitts. Not a fan of St Maarten or Martinique.

Great ship, great staff, great cruise

The ship, cabin, food, service and entertainment were very good. The excursions were good but expensive and not special. The disappointment for us were the presentations on destinations and the poor lectures. The material for the latter was good but the delivery was very poor.

Fabulous itinerary, great service and a wonderful cruise. Excellent quality food and entertainment. The Seabourn staff make it special.

Overall we had a great cruise and thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. We thought the Ovation was a beautiful ship. The quality of the food was amazing especially in the Restaurant. We did not rate Solis on both occasions we ate there although the service was excellent we found the meals disappointing and perhaps a rethink is needed. We expected a really special dining experience and found a very ordinary meal I could have prepared myself. We found some of the ports we visited on our 21 day trip a waste of time and quickly returned to the ship. We found the staff to be pleasant and always ready to help. Our suite was kept immaculate and thanks to Angelica and Salome we were very comfortable. The entertainment was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed the shows. We would book a return cruise with Seabourn in the future.

The staff are amazing and so friendly and cannot do enough to make your holiday memorable and enjoyable. Particularly Salome and Angelica who cared for our every need in looking after our cabin and anticipating our personal requirements. All the staff were just as attentive and they made the holiday a big success. The ships facilities were brilliant especially the restaurants which provided a fine dining experience of the highest quality. If you are looking for a cruise of exceptional quality look no further. If you want to have the best cruise ever we would have no hesitation in recommending Seabourn Ovation as the cruise ship of choice. We cannot wait for the next cruise.
