Seabourn Ovation Reviews

Overall we had a great cruise and thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. We thought the Ovation was a beautiful ship. The quality of the food was amazing especially in the Restaurant. We did not rate Solis on both occasions we ate there although the service was excellent we found the meals disappointing and perhaps a rethink is needed. We expected a really special dining experience and found a very ordinary meal I could have prepared myself. We found some of the ports we visited on our 21 day trip a waste of time and quickly returned to the ship. We found the staff to be pleasant and always ready to help. Our suite was kept immaculate and thanks to Angelica and Salome we were very comfortable. The entertainment was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed the shows. We would book a return cruise with Seabourn in the future.

The staff are amazing and so friendly and cannot do enough to make your holiday memorable and enjoyable. Particularly Salome and Angelica who cared for our every need in looking after our cabin and anticipating our personal requirements. All the staff were just as attentive and they made the holiday a big success. The ships facilities were brilliant especially the restaurants which provided a fine dining experience of the highest quality. If you are looking for a cruise of exceptional quality look no further. If you want to have the best cruise ever we would have no hesitation in recommending Seabourn Ovation as the cruise ship of choice. We cannot wait for the next cruise.

Great cruise Interesting places and superb food and staff.

The cruise (to the Baltic with 3 days in St. Petersburg) exceeded expectations. Seabourn Ovation was elegant but the service levels were not as high as on previous Seabourn cruises, which were on the smaller vessels. Traditionally Seabourn has distinguished itself from the competition by the quality and personal nature of its service. Sadly, this was not the case on this occasion, though overall it was a most enjoyable break, largely because of the ship itself, the ports visited and the splendid weather.

Just returned from our 3rd Seabourn cruise to the North Cape. As usual the food, service and company was excellent. The entertainment was varied and first class. The cruise director Chris was brilliant and always made you feel a valued friend. The scenery in northern Norway was incredible too and we we lucky with the weather in that it hardly rained. Our cabin 823 was substantial with full bath and separate shower.
