Throughout the cruise, from check in to disembarkation, everything that Virgin Voyages did was way above expectations. This was our 15th cruise, 1st with VV, and definitely one of the best. The crew were attentive and friendly, and seemed more relaxed than on some other cruises we’ve been on. The ship is amazing, as is the food and entertainment. All the things VV do different to other cruise lines, was definitely for the better. We’re already looking to book again next year!

The whole experience was fantastic the staff who looked after us always had a smile and nothing was to much trouble the food in the galley kitchen was excellent and all the other restaurants did excellent food the ship was extremely clean and the entertainment was worth going to see them. The only disappointment was there was no laundry on site and having the clothes washed was VERY expensive But I certainly would consider going on another virgin cruise again.

Just returned from a 10 night cruise. Beautiful ship, really well planned, clean, great vibe about it. Cabins are fantastic, we had a balcony, Hamock was a stand out feature for sail aways etc. Loads of space and plenty nooks and crannies to find quiet time. Food offerings were exceptional, top of the class here. Service was indifferent in truth dependent on the crew member. Some were fantastic, engaging and a credit to the badge. Others seemed to think they were doing you a favour, bit disappointing in truth. Never really engaged with the entertainment as the World Cup was on, also never used their shore excursions, so can't comment. Overall though a brilliant experience

Beautiful ship, great cabin with everything you could need

Just a few points to sum up the Scarlett lady. Positives were the cabin was excellent including the Terrace good facilities although no kettle or coffee machine which would've been perfect for the morning when reaching your destination. Ship didn't have a luxury feel the communal areas seemed basic and there wasn't many communal areas to watch the live music. Some of the live music was very good but very repetitive the same axon every day for 12 days! The theatre and the nightclub were poor in my opinion cater solely for a very niche market. Food was okay in most of the restaurants but not as good as I have had on other cruise lines. The drink package is not a package it is a bar tab. Which I understood before we booked this holiday but there was 10% tax added to ordering which I was unhappy about one colour of beer $9. 90 as I was a top in my opinion a lot of the cocktails are pre-mixed probably have the worst piña colada of my life! Would I return back on a virgin voyage? Absolutely not will I cruise again totally and would I use igloo as a travel agent? Apart from some mixup with transfers they were accompanying that were excellent and communicated very well.

I loved Scarlet Lady, she was a beautiful ship and the food was amazing. Also I would like to thank Iglu. com who we went with. Everything was fantastic, the transfers were olways on thi. e with lovely cars and the drivers were polite and very respectful. Infact everything was great from start to finish. Thankyou Iglu.

The cabin was very good it had everything we needed and the cabin steward couldn’t do enough for us . The balcony furniture could have been better while the hammock was great the metal chairs were uncomfortable and not nice to sit on. The food was plentiful and of good quality the only bad meal we had was in Lucky Lotus where we found on our first visit the food was very cold and service exceptionally slow (over an hour sat after ordering our food to actually receive it and then it was very cold) The shows were very good we did not participate much in the daytime activities as we were usually discovering the ports of call which we found interesting and varied. For us it was more or less perfect for what we wanted from a holiday.
