Included with meals are some soft drinks, teas and coffees but the majority of drinks are extra. If you want alcoholic drinks you have three options. You can buy drinks at the bar. You can buy a drinks package (see below). Or upgrade to the Princess Plus or Premier fares. They include a drinks package plus other packages for less than the cost of the drinks package on its own.

Tips

If you choose the Princess Standard fare, a daily service charge of $16 - $18 per person, depending on your cabin, is added to your account at the end of the cruise. If you choose the Princess Plus or Premium fare this already covered in the cost of your cruise.

Specialty Dining

Eating at the specialty dining restaurants is extra. You can pay for meals in those restaurants onboard. Or you get unlimited specialty dining meals included with the Princess Premier fare.

Excursions

If you would like to do any excursions/tours while docked these will be an additional charge. Excursions/tours can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package. Alternatively these can be bought while on the ship but may be more expensive than pre-booking.

Parking

Car parking at the port or airport for the duration of your trip is not included within the price of the cruise. Port/airport parking can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add this to your package. An approximate cost for parking is between £12 - £20 per car per day. Alternatively we can arrange transfers from your home to the departure airport/port.

Food wasn't great, poor variety and quality. Have been on many Princess cruises and this was the worst for food. The itinerary included too many industrial Ports, with limited access to the local area. Main theatre entertainment was poor, with mind readers, jugglers, sand dancers, magicians. Really, thought we'd gladly left all that behind in the 1970's & 80's. To be fair, individual entertainment around the ship was often very good.

Ship is very tatty. Constantly dodging workers with ladders Smelling toilets and drains in cabins Had a very small shower cubical 3ft x 2 ft with a curtain,! Bathroom floooded every time you took a shower had to get more towels to mop it up totally unacceptable Balcony constantly wet after the rain as it wouldn’t drain they tried to vacuum it up but not very successfully so we couldn’t use it A known problem on our deck People without air con and hot water Entertainment poor no room in the theatre music in the other lounges was poor 2 violinists out of tune could only play a few tunes over and over Played pickleball to loud banging and soldiering al day Tour excursions very expensive Couldn’t get a table in the main dining room was told you had to book before you came on board but it seemed that only American and Canadians could as the app didn’t work before at home Staff were excellent trying their best but under staffed too many managers

An excellent cruise. Great ship, interesting itinerary, brilliant crew & staff and we met some lovely fellow travellers. First time with the medallions ID system which worked well. The only downside was the cost of packages and cost of drinks but this did not detract from the overall experience. We will cruise with Princess again.
