Food wasn't great, poor variety and quality. Have been on many Princess cruises and this was the worst for food. The itinerary included too many industrial Ports, with limited access to the local area. Main theatre entertainment was poor, with mind readers, jugglers, sand dancers, magicians. Really, thought we'd gladly left all that behind in the 1970's & 80's. To be fair, individual entertainment around the ship was often very good.

An excellent cruise. Great ship, interesting itinerary, brilliant crew & staff and we met some lovely fellow travellers. First time with the medallions ID system which worked well. The only downside was the cost of packages and cost of drinks but this did not detract from the overall experience. We will cruise with Princess again.

All was great on Sapphire Princess, the staff were very polite and helpful, the food was great and generous portions, pizzas a delight and I don’t normally eat pizza! Cabin boy was helpful and attentive, free ice cream bar a delight, international coffee bar was great with a good selection of snacks and very attentive staff, proved to be too popular as occasionally we could not get a seat. The medallion system was very good and helpful to track down fellow travellers. I would definitely recommend, next time I may upgrade on the larger ships to make our cruise more personalised.
