From the staggering heights of atop Table Mountain to the grasslands of Sanbona Wildlife Reserve, this six-night tour of South Africa will offer you a comprehensive adventure of everything this remarkable nation has to offer. Starting in Cape Town, you’ll spend two nights in the South African capital city as you explore some of the most iconic – and culturally significant – sites here. When you arrive, you’ll enjoy an incredible welcome dinner at the world-famous Gold Restaurant, before spending a day exploring the Cape Peninsula – which includes lunch at Bertha’s Restaurant in Simon’s Town. Boasting staggering natural beauty and the chance to spot some fascinating wildlife in its natural habitat, such as African penguins and Cape fur seals, this is a day worth looking forward to. Though, that’s just the start of your adventure, really. On Day three, you’ll embark on a driving tour of Cape Town’s biggest sights, before venturing to Robben Island – home to one of the world's most infamous prisons, which is now a living museum – and Table Mountain – a staggering natural wonder overlooking Cape Town and the surrounding scenery. Then, following an evening transfer to Stellenbosch, you’ll spend your fourth day of this experience touring South Africa’s famous winelands – with two wine tasting experiences to enjoy! The next few days will see you calling the remarkable Sanbona Wildlife Reserve your home, where you’ll be able to enjoy all the luxury of the accommodation here and embark on unforgettable game drives. Home to the Big Five (lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalo, and elephants) alongside several species of antelope, cheetahs, zebra, and so much more, these game drives will be truly unforgettable. Giving you a taste of South African cuisine, the region’s world-famous wine, the history and culture of Cape Town, and the wildlife that roams the stunning landscapes here, this incredible six-night tour is the complete experience and you’ll leave South Africa itching to come back and do it all over again.

Credit cards, however, are widely accepted. It’s just worth keeping in mind that transactions can take anything up to a few months to go through and appear on your statements, especially when payments are made in remote areas.

Health & Safety
You must consult your medical practitioner or a travel clinic before travelling to any destination on this tour to determine whether you’re required to get a yellow fever vaccination, and this must be done no less than 10 days prior to travel. If a vaccination was required, you must be able to produce a yellow fever certificate as proof of vaccination.
Similarly, you should consult your medical practitioner or a travel clinic on malaria precautions before you travel to South Africa. You should also ensure you pack an adequate amount of any medication you may need for your trip, as it will be difficult to obtain after arrival – this is something that applies to any malaria prophylaxis, prescriptions, chronic or preferred brand medication.
Ticks can also be found in Africa’s wilderness areas; to avoid getting bitten, you should wear long trousers, socks, and boots when going on bush walks.
