The entertainment was good and crew also. The drinks are ridiculously expensive and I’ve never seen such a dry ship mist drinking water or drinking in their cabins. If they considered reducing prices they would make a lot more. The ship however was lovely, the buffet food was good and varied, many preferring in their at night as the food in the restaurants was not the best by far.

Good. Staff were wonderful. Entertainment was really good. Plenty of activities. Two lovely pool areas. Food exceptional. Gym really well equipped and good spa facilities. Well stocked library. Laundry facilities really good.
Not so good. WiFi excessively expensive. Gloomy lower interiors. Very few really comfy chairs to curl up with a book. Really uncomfortable sun beds. A reasonably priced glass of house wine would have been nice.
Overall. Very aware that this is a cruise or company for rich people. Bit out of our league. We caught gastro bug and confined to cabin for 3 days but didn't seem to be ship-wide. Well handled with hit squad for cabin cleaning. Would we go again? No but perhaps that's just us.

The decor of Queen Anne is a little less traditional than Cunard’s other ships in that it is brighter but still luxurious. On the plus side is the Bright Lights Society, a small cabaret style venue. The awful plastic shower curtains have been replaced with glass doors. The theatre is a much better layout than on QM.
On the down side in the cabins there is insufficient wardrobe space, particularly for long items, and it’s split into 4 different areas. The public areas can be chilly, particularly in the theatre.
As usual all the crew were friendly and helpful.

A bright sparkly new cruise ship
Nice bathroom
cabins a bit snug with nor enough wardrobe space for 2 people sharing
very low ceilings through all ship including social spaces
pool area with movable roof for inclement weather
good size buffet although menu was limited, plenty of spaces to accommodate sea days.
MDR excellent with excellent service and staff, the one area that met with Cunard standards
Queens room a major disappointment, a third of the size of Victoria's complemented with extra seating at busy times of plastic stacking chairs!
majority of staff pleasant and helpful but encountered staff who didn't know how to smile and where abrupt! Some extra training needed here
And the most annoying was the theatre times of 7. . 30 pm and 9. 45pm. If you were late dining of 8. 15 pm you needed to wear your trainers with your smart/gala wear to be able to sprint the length of the ship to arrive at the theatre before the show started. Witnessed 50+ guests all entering after lights out and disturbing other guests finding a seat every night!! A 10. 00 pm start would alleviate this issue and ensure everyone had the chance to have a relaxed meal and enjoy a good show in its entirety
Would I book again?
It would be my least choice of the Cunard fleet.

Santos is a charming coastal city in Brazil that serves as both a major global shipping hub and a cultural treasure trove. It is most famous for its rich coffee heritage, anchored by the stunning Coffee Museum in the historic Old Town, and its legendary connection to football icon Pelé. Beyond its history, the city boasts the world’s longest beachfront garden, a sprawling five kilometre green belt that edges its wide sandy shores. With its vintage trams, scenic funicular rides up Monte Serrat, and easygoing maritime atmosphere, Santos offers a unique blend of industrial might and historic elegance.
Things to do in Santos (Tours to Sao Paulo):
Pelé Museum
A visit to the Pelé Museum is an immersive journey through the life of the man widely considered the greatest footballer of all time. Located in the beautifully restored Valongo Mansion in the historic heart of Santos, the museum spans over 4,000 square metres and houses a massive collection of personal memorabilia, including trophies, jerseys, and the very boots Pelé used to score his most famous goals. The experience is designed to be interactive, featuring modern multimedia displays that relive his legendary World Cup triumphs and his nearly two-decade career with Santos FC.
Orquidário Municipal
The Orquidário Municipal serves as a tranquil sanctuary where the beauty of a botanical garden meets the charm of a wildlife park. Wandering through its shaded trails, you’ll encounter over a hundred varieties of orchids alongside free roaming animals like peacocks and agoutis that move undisturbed among the visitors. This lush pocket of Atlantic Rainforest offers a rare chance to see exotic birds and monkeys in a serene, natural setting, making it the perfect cool escape from the city’s busier beachfront.
Sau Paolo Downtown
Exploring Downtown São Paulo is a dive into the city's architectural and cultural origins, where grand neo-Gothic structures stand alongside early 20th century skyscrapers. The journey often starts at the monumental Sé Cathedral, the city's symbolic heart, before winding past the Pateo do Collegio, the Jesuit mission where São Paulo was born in 1554. Visitors can experience the city's legendary scale from the observation deck of the Farol Santander or indulge in the bustling energy of the Municipal Market, famous for its stained-glass windows and massive mortadella sandwiches. This district serves as a vibrant, high energy mosaic of historic landmarks, vibrant street life, and the unique Japanese heritage of the nearby Liberdade neighbourhood.

Montevideo
DAY 5
12 Feb 2027
Time at Port: TBD
Located on the north-eastern bank of the Rio de la Plata, Montevideo is the capital city of Uruguay and a modern metropolis with a difference. Boasting stunning European art deco-style architecture, a hangover from this region’s colonial past, Montevideo is home to an expansive beach promenade and a South American atmosphere to match. Here, you’ll find the Rambla, a riverfront avenue that’s one of the world’s longest continuous sidewalks – which just highlights how perfect Montevideo is if you’re looking to take a laid-back wander here. Beyond this, though, if you’re looking for a little more action, you’ll find a bustling marketplace in Mercado del Puerto, intriguing exhibitions in the Andes Museum and Museo El Juguetero (just two of the several incredible museums and galleries in Montevideo), and fantastic food everywhere you turn. With all the modern comforts of a capital city, but a relaxed atmosphere that lets you savour the little things, a visit to this metropolis is worth looking forward to.
Things to do in Montevideo:
Legislative Palace of Uruguay
A monumental example of neo-classical architecture in the heart of Montevideo, the Legislative Palace of Uruguay acts as the meeting place of the General Assembly of Uruguay, the seat of the legislative branch of the Uruguayan government, and a remarkable landmark to see when you visit. Built between 1904 and 1925, it was constructed to commemorate 100 years of Uruguayan independence.
Obelisk of Montevideo
Built in 1930 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the first Constitution of Uruguay as a homage to the original members of the General Assembly, this three-sided structure stretches 40 metres up and is flanked by three bronze structures representing Law, Liberty, and Force. In 1983, it was the site of Rio de Libertad – the nation’s largest demonstration ever, demanding an end to the civil-military dictatorship in place at the time.
Palacio Salvo
Standing 95 metres tall, this stunning structure takes advantage of eclectic architectural designs to deliver one of the most remarkable buildings in Montevideo. Built with the intention of being a hotel in 1928, it’s now a mixture of private residences and office spaces – though tours of the building are available at select times during the day.

One of the most diverse cities in the Americas, with an intriguing colonial history to uncover and a bright future ahead, Buenos Aires is certain to become an instant favourite among the highlights of any South American adventure.
Things to do in Buenos Aires - Overnight onboard:
Teatro Colón
Among the best opera houses in the world, Teatro Colón is a historic theatre venue in the heart of Buenos Aires, boasting stunning exterior architecture, impressive interior designs, and rooms boasting the best acoustics for operas and the second-best acoustics for music concerts in the world. To say seeing a show here is an incredible experience would be an understatement; it would be one of the best shows in the world. Although, if you don’t have time for that, the building itself is still worth taking the time to admire.
El Caminito
Among the most vibrant areas of Buenos Aires, El Caminito is touristy for all the right reasons and a must-visit area of Argentina’s capital. Found within La Boca, a historically working-class neighbourhood in the heart of the city, you’ll be met with brightly-coloured buildings, lively street performers, and fascinating art museums when you visit here. Beagle Channel (Scenic Cruising)
DAY 12
19 Feb 2027
Time at Port: TBD
The Beagle Channel is a stunning 240-kilometer-long waterway in Tierra del Fuego, Southern Patagonia, that separates Argentina and Chile. Known for its magnificent landscape, it boasts snow-capped Andean peaks and tidewater glaciers (Glacier Alley) and, while chilly and windy, provides a smoother, more scenic sailing path than the nearby Cape Horn. It is frequently described as a "frozen cathedral" with glaciers plummeting right into the sea. Visitors frequently see sea lion colonies, a variety of seabird species (cormorants), and occasionally penguins or whales.
Things to do in Beagle Channel (Scenic Cruising):
Cruising
Cruising the Beagle Channel is an iconic Patagonian maritime experience. Navigate the channel to see stunning sights, including snow-capped mountains and glaciers. It is known for its stunning landscape, including snow-capped Andean peaks and glaciers that plunge right into the sea. The renowned Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (also known as the Lighthouse at the End of the World) is an active navigational beacon situated on a rocky, windowless rock in the Beagle Channel, approximately 5 nautical miles east of Ushuaia, Argentina.
Ushuaia
DAY 13
20 Feb 2027
Time at Port: TBD
Nicknamed the “End of the World”, Ushuaia is a charming windswept city on the southernmost tip of South America and an important port of call for cruise adventures to Antarctica. In the heart of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, this port is surrounded by some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world, boasting sensational sightseeing opportunities for everyone who travels here. From vibrant coastal forests and dramatic waterfalls to stunning glaciers and unique polar wildlife, Ushuaia really is somewhere where you’ll be able to bask in the sheer beauty of nature, and soak up some sensational panoramic views from the vantage points found here. This city, though, while being famous for being (arguably) the most southernmost city in the entire world, is also something of a gateway to Antarctica and the smaller islands that make up the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. So, despite being rather quaint in comparison to other Argentinian cities and South American holiday hotspots, what you’re met with in Ushuaia is just a taste of what’s to come – if you’re continuing onto Antarctica, anyway. That doesn’t mean you should be too eager to leave Ushuaia, though, as this port of call does offer a lot more than just breathtaking natural beauty. Ushuaia is also home to a unique collection of museums and some fantastic food; so, while the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the region is a major highlight, this is one destination that will prove to be just as memorable as everything else on your itinerary.
Things to do in Ushuaia:
Tierra del Fuego National Park
An expansive national park that protects nearly 70,000 hectares of land, the Tierra del Fuego National Park combines marine areas, forests, and mountains to create a truly fascinating place worth exploring if you have the time while visiting Ushuaia. Here, you’ll find everything from luscious woodland and tumbling waterfalls to dramatic mountains and serene lakes. Throughout, you’ll also find evidence of the Yámanas, the first inhabitants of these lands, which serves to remind everyone who spends some time here that this region has been inhabited for more than 10,000 years. With so much to see, this is easily the best place to visit if you’re looking to switch off and embrace the great outdoors.
Museo del Fin del Mundo
If you want to learn more about the city of Ushuaia, Museo del fin del Mundo is the perfect place to go. A living heritage museum that explores the history and culture of Ushuaia and the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, the End of the World Museum (which is its name in English) is home to numerous exhibitions that explore the native history of this region, the local fauna and flora, the traditions and customs of the people here, and even some of the shipwrecks that have happened here over the centuries. Found in parts of the National Bank building and Old Government House, these impressive buildings only serve to highlight the importance of the museum and its contents.
Museo de la Ciudad
Also known as Casa Pena, this former private residence has served as the City Museum in Ushuaia since 2009; with an interesting selection of informative exhibits and historic items, this museum offers visitors a fantastic insight into what ordinary life was like in this city throughout the 20th century – which is when it was originally occupied by the Pena family.
Cape Horn (Sail By)
DAY 14
21 Feb 2027
Time at Port: TBD
Widely believed to be the most southerly point of South America for a long time, and a destination marking the meeting point of the Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean, Cape Horn is a stunning headland on Hornos Island – one of the larger landmasses in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago – known for unusual rock formations, tumultuous weather, and its significant role in maritime trading from the 1700s to the early 20th century. Initially discovered by Spanish explorers in 1526, and eventually first fully rounded by Dutch navigators for the East India Company in 1616, who then named this destination Kaap Hoorn, after Hoorn in the Netherlands, Cape Horn is a rocky outlet steeped in maritime history. Navigating around Cape Horn was once a dangerous feat, with rough waters and intense winds making this trade route a valuable one – when navigated successfully, anyway. Rendered largely obsolete as a trade route by the Panama Canal, Cape Horn now represents a breathtaking scenic cruising experience you can enjoy without worrying about the treacherous sailing conditions.
Things to do in Cape Horn (Sail By):
Cape Horn Monument
A sculpture paying homage to the sailors who lost their lives attempting to navigate around Cape Horn, the Cape Horn monument stands along a lighthouse and the Stella Maris, a small Catholic chapel. It stands 24 feet tall on a hilltop roughly 165 feet above sea level.
Black-Browed Albatross Sightings
A highlight among the seabirds you can see when sailing around Cape Horn, black-browed albatrosses are among the most populous of its family – but no less impressive to see while at sea. With a wingspan of 200 cm to 240 cm and a natural lifespan of over 70 years, these bright white seabirds have a dark eyestripe and broad black edging to the underside of their wings.
Southern Rockhopper Penguin Spotting
A vulnerable penguin species often found in subantarctic waters like those surrounding Cape Horn, these are among the smallest species of its family; with breeding colonies around Cape Horn, you may spot some of these incredible animals during your sailing. They’re known for their bright yellow eyebrows, ending in long yellow plumes, and red eyes.
Magellan Straits (Scenic Cruising)
DAY 15
22 Feb 2027
Time at Port: TBD
Among the most important natural waterways in the world, the Strait of Magellan is a navigable sea route through southern Chile connecting the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean; shorter and more sheltered than the Drake Passage around Cape Horn, it could save important time when navigating this infamous trade route. First discovered in 1520 by Portuguese navigator Ferdinand Magellan, this route is roughly 350 miles long and separates the Tierra del Fuego archipelago from mainland South America. While shorter and generally more safe to sail through, it still proved a challenge – with it taking Magellan reportedly 38 days to navigate initially. Unpredictable winds and currents, alongside the fact that it’s only just over a mile wide at its most narrow point, made it tricky for larger ships; thus, Clipper style sailing ships often preferred the Drake Passage when navigating this trade route. By 1914, with the opening of the Panama Canal, the Strait of Magellan was rendered obsolete as a trade route; however, with modern cruise technology making it a breeze to navigate, this stretch of water is now an incredibly unique scenic cruising experience. While here, you’ll have the chance to admire dramatic rocky landscapes, vibrant woodlands, bright blue glaciers, and more; if you’re lucky, you’ll have the chance to spot humpback whales breaching the water and Magellanic penguins clustered on the shores.
Things to do in Magellan Straits (Scenic Cruising):
Punta Arenas
The capital of Chile’s Magallanes and Antarctica Chilena region and one of the few settlements you’ll sail past as you navigate the Strait of Magellan, Punta Arenas is an important geopolitical and logistical city for Chile; it’s also the most southernmost city in the world with a population of over 100,000 people. An invaluable launching point for Antarctic adventures and an important base for Chile to defend its sovereignty over the islands south of the Strait of Magellan, the settlement here exploded throughout the 1880s and early 1900s due to a gold rush and sheep farming boom. Since 2017, it has also been using its own time zone year-round, rather than utilising a winter time zone and summer time zone like the rest of Chile – something similar to the daylight savings the UK operates on.
Alberto de Agostini National Park
An impressive protected area in southern Chile, you’ll see parts of the Alberto de Agostini National Park as you cruise the Strait of Magellan; home to several tidewater glaciers and dramatic fjords, you’ll find the Cordellera Darwin mountain range here – the final stretch of the Andes before they sink into the Pacific Ocean. The third-largest national park in Chile, the rugged landscapes of Chilean Antarctica are breathtaking and not to be missed.
Punta Arenas
DAY 15
22 Feb 2027
Time at Port: TBD
The peninsular of Punta Arenas is a hugely popular location for those wanting to whale watch either from the rugged coastline or boat trips out to sea. Cruisers stopping by can also enjoy the sanctuary for sea life such as endangered turtles and seahorses, or kayak along the Magellan Straits to spot penguins. Explore the main boulevard and take in the local art gallery, or hit the duty free area for fantastic souvenirs.

Located within Bernardo O'Higgins National Park, this massive tidewater glacier descends from the Andes and wraps around the Reclus volcano, where it dramatically meets the waters of the Sarmiento Channel. Because ships do not dock here, the experience is entirely immersive from the deck, often featuring slow rotations by the captain to ensure every passenger has a perfect view of the glacier's intense blue ice and 2 mile wide face.

A moderately-sized Chilean port city serving Santiago, the nation’s capital, San Antonio is a South American destination perfect for travellers who want to spend some time enjoying the outdoors. From impressive cultural landmarks like La Moneda Palace and San Cristobal Hill to the breathtaking views from atop Santa Lucia Hill and the remarkable artwork in the National Museum of Fine Arts, there are experiences everyone can enjoy in Santiago – not to mention the abundance of incredible restaurants and bars to check out. Spending your night onboard here, you’ll have even more time to immerse yourself in the Chilean capital and enjoy everything both Santiago and San Antonio have to offer.
Things to do in San Antonio (tours to Santiago):
La Moneda Palace
Once an impressive mint house during Chile’s colonial period, producing coins from 1814 to 1929, La Moneda Palace is the current seat of the president of the Republic of Chile and one of Santiago’s most famous landmarks. Occupying an entire block in the city’s Civic District, the neoclassical architectural style is influenced by Roman construction styles, affording the building a unique grandeur. It opens onto the Plaza de La Constitución, a neat city square that’s almost the same size as La Moneda Palace itself. The La Moneda Cultural Centre also sits just behind the palace, and you’ll find rotating art exhibitions, restaurants, and more within.
Sanctuary of the Immaculate Conception on San Cristóbal Hill
One of the principal places of worship for the Catholic Church of Chile, and somewhere that’s considered a symbol of the city of Santiago, the Sanctuary of the Immaculate Conception is a shrine made famous for its impressive statue of the Virgin Mary – symbolising the immaculate conception of Jesus Christ – that stands over 14 metres tall. Sitting atop San Cristóbal Hill, which means the statue stands over 850 metres above sea level, this sanctuary offers visitors incredible views of Santiago and the surrounding scenery.
Chilean National Museum of Fine Arts
The oldest fine arts museum in South America, the Chilean National Museum of Fine Arts in Santiago is one of the world’s major centres for Chilean and South American art; established in 1880 and currently housed in the Palace of the Fine Arts – which was built in 1910 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Chilean independence – this museum boasts a collection of over 5,000 artworks.
