Great trip, great itinerary. Done 46 cruises on various cruise lines. Best embarkation ever in Trieste. Suite was fab, spotlessly clean. All the staff were so friendly and helpful . Food and service some of the best. Cannot fault this cruise. Only down side was we were on the drinks package but the suite fridge contents had to be paid for which could have easily been included.

Our experience with Holland America was positive. Oosterdam is an older ship in need of a refit, but she is clean, comfortable and with a variety of public areas to suit everyone's taste. The good is generally good. The buffet was particularly good for breakfast. The main dining room was dated but the food was good and the service excellent. This is a particularly good value cruise company if you book early and get a Have it All deal. The passengers were mainly from the US and there were several Astronomy groups on-board for the Solar Eclipse. Crew seem happy. The Dutch Captain was personable and visible. Disembarkation was done very smoothly.
