Cabin was good, very comfortable.
Staff at all levels were excellent , nothing is too much trouble.
Toilets and public areas were very clean, plenty of hand sanitizers in all areas.
We had the basic drinks package, it was perfectly adequate drinks are available in all bars during allocated time.
However, slightly disappointed with the food, main dining room food often cold, soggy, unappetising.
Buffet breakfast and lunch food was not very exciting.
Dinner buffet more choice , again food not very hot.
Oceania (as they advertise)do not have the best food at sea
Speciality restaurants were good.
Entertainment was good, staff were brilliant.
For a small ship there was plenty to do.
Would travel on Oceania again.

Our first cruise with Oceania but ship very similar to Azamara Quest that we have sailed on twice before.
Similar experience between both but the entertainment offerings on Regatta were poor by comparison with Azamara.
Had issues with Destination Services stating that a trip that should have included a 15 minute stop at a beach for pictures was a typo error in the description.

Ship Staff crew cabin dining and special dining all fabulous. we had as many fresh towels in the cabin and for beach and poolside as we could possibly want. the cabin was cleaned every day and the bed turned down nightly. we had a balcony so it was nice to have some time watching sun sets especially during sail days. The Bars and restaurants were very nice and never overcrowded. Having afternoon tea was a nice touch as was the barista bar where you could grab a snack or cake with a coffee. The only slight criticism i would make is the service charge on each drink purchased. this was especially so when actually docked in port when there was also a port tax. We actually went independent on shore excursions which we found to be satisfactory as the ship excursions was so very expensive. We managed to attend the nightly entertainment every night and found them to be very good. After the main event there was singalong at the piano bar or the Horizons bar and karaoke if that's what you like. All in all the Polynesian Hawaii cruise was all what we hoped it would be a special cruise for a special anniversary.

The Regatta is an old ship in serious need of an upgrade. Tiles on swimming pool falling off and decking needed some TLC. The entertainment was disappointing and the information on ports visited was non existant. We were given 800$ shore credit, but the the excursions were very expensive ( compared to other cruises we have been on) and most of them were fully booked. No sale away parties and only one party on the deck. Plenty of Karaoke but not for us. On our last day we had to leave the ship at 9am and were taken straight to the airport for our 10pm flight !! When we have been on other cruises there has always been an option for an excursion with an airport drop off.
On the plus side the food was excellent and most of the staff were lovely.
We were led to believe that Oceania was a superior cruise line, not the case.

Things to do in Cape Town:

Within the gardens, you’ll find a conservatory, amongst other extraordinary sights.
Cape of Good Hope
Jutting out dramatically into the South Atlantic Ocean, the Cape of Good Hope is a breathtakingly beautiful natural landmark boasting incredible coastline views, sensational wildlife spotting opportunities, and an interesting history worth taking the time to learn more about – and, it’s a peninsula that’s commonly mistaken for being the southernmost point in Africa, but that’s actually Cape Agulhas, which is about 150 km eastwards. When it was first discovered by Portuguese explorer Bartolomeu Dias in 1488, this rocky headland was known as the Cape of Storms, but John II of Portugal renamed it the Cape of Good Hope in an effort to reflect the incredible optimism borne out of having an open sea route to India and the East. When you’re here, you’ll have the chance to see everything from ostrich and chacma baboons to African penguins and more; so, it’s definitely worth bringing a pair of binoculars when visiting.
Boulders Penguin Colony
Getting its name from the granite boulders that surround it, Boulders Beach is located on the Cape Peninsula in South Africa. Not only is this beach incredibly scenic, but it’s also a popular place to visit because of the thriving colony of African penguins that call it home.

Suspended 40 metres (130 feet) above the forest floor, the walkway consists of seven narrow rope bridges connecting massive tree tops. As you navigate the swaying bridges, you are rewarded with a bird's-eye view of the lush, prehistoric canopy and the chance to spot some of the park’s 266 bird species or over 100 types of butterflies. For those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, guided nature walks through the dense undergrowth offer insights into the medicinal uses of tropical plants and the forest's complex ecosystem.
