Embarkation was very good . We had a Medical emergency which meant we did leave Sydney till 01:30 the following day this had a knock on effect and we therefore couldn’t make our first port of call. So we had a day at sea. This was disappointing but understandable. I found the ship to be small so for me with limited walking was actually good. However I was disappointed and annoyed to find that there was a culture of people saving seats in the theatre and the champagne bar. You’d see seats available walk up to them and be told we are saving them . The amounts of time I couldn’t get a seat was infuriating . There would be an announcement in the theatre but no one to back it up. This practice was common place in all the areas atrium included. We had further port cancellations. So not great. The food was okay but much more limited in choice than on previous cruises I’ve been on . All in all I’d only give this cruise a 3/5

The ship wasn’t the best we’ve been on but the food, service, free at sea package and entertainment was great. Cabin was small and didn’t have much storage space. Shower was lovely. Atrium was a bit drab and strangely laid out. Excursions were expensive. Enjoyed Auckland, Tauranga beach was a short walk from the ship. Spectacular scenery and waterfalls of the Sounds. Disappointed we couldn’t visit Tasmania and Eden due to adverse weather. Especially as we had arranged to meet friends who live in Tasmania. Melbourne was disappointing. Sydney was such a vibrant city with so much to see and do.
