Had a fantastic time on Euribia, cabin was spacious with a sofa and a mini bar. Restaurant food was excellent and the service was outstanding. The ship didn’t feel too crowded and there were always seats available in the buffet area. The lift system was also good so minimal wait times during busier periods. My mum has not swam for 5 years but was able to access the pool with the steps rather than a ladder. . The sea was calm throughout and the weather glorious. We had the basic drinks package it was well worth it but it is an additional cost and The WiFi was in my opinion very expensive. So the added extras did mount up.
We went on 2 excursions in Dubai and they were extremely well run the tour guide was fantastic and very helpful.
We are also thankful we were there last week and not this week with the attacks from Iran.
MSC offer two seated dining options, which they call Classic Dining. There is an early sitting at around 7pm and a late sitting at around 9pm. These sittings can varyby ship. Playa de la Victoria is a breathtaking stretch of sandy beach perfect for sun lounging and enjoying the glorious weather in southern Spain; with restaurants, bars, shops, and more all within close walking distance, you’ll never have to travel far to find what you need when enjoying a day here.
Castillo de San Sebastián
Located on a small island at the end of La Caleta beach, this remarkable historical site was once home to a Temple of Kronos – a Titan among the Greek gods, and father of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Demeter, and Hera. The castle we see today was built circa 1706 in order to provide the northern flank of the city with defence, and the levee linking the island to the city was constructed in 1860. This castle was also the site of Spain’s second electric-powered lighthouse, which was added to the structures on this island in 1908.
Plaza de España
An impressive plaza in Parque de Maria Luisa in Seville, Plaza de España is a remarkable landmark example of Regionalism architecture – blending the Baroque Revival, Renaissance Revival, and Moorish Revival styles together. Completed in 1928, this stunning area was featured in exterior shots of the City of Theed on Naboo in Star Wars Episode II - Attack of the Clones and scenes from Lawrence of Arabia, among other film and TV productions – something that only exemplifies its incredible beauty.
Royal Alcázar of Seville
A historic royal palace in the heart of Seville, which was once an Islamic-era citadel in the 10th century before eventually being expanded upon and rebuilt throughout the 11th, 12th, and 13th centuries, the Royal Alcázar of Seville is an impressive example of Mudejar-style architecture but draws on Gothic and Renaissance elements, giving it a unique character among other palaces in the region. When the royal family are visiting Seville, they still occupy the upper stories of the alcázar to this day – though, you can also explore this area when they’re not in town. A truly staggering medieval cathedral constructed throughout the 12th century, Catedral de Santiago de Compostela is a historic place of pilgrimage on the Way of St. James – marking the traditional end point of this route – and is regarded as the burial place of Saint James the Great, one of the apostles of Jesus Christ. A blend of Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque architectural styles, this cathedral has become a symbol of the city; within, you’ll find countless statues, an impressive organ, and an exquisite barrel-vaulted nave. The largest Romanesque church in Spain and one of the largest in Europe, this is one place you won’t want to miss the chance to visit.
Tower of Hercules
Standing 180 ft tall, the Tower of Hercules is the oldest-known extant Roman lighthouse in the world; constructed in the 1st century, this structure’s design was inspired by the original plans for the Lighthouse of Alexandria (one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World), and the site itself is featured in several mythical stories. For example, it’s said that Hercules buried the head of Geyron with his weapons here after three days and three nights of battle. Renovated in 1791 and now surrounded by a sculpture garden, this is also the second-tallest lighthouse in Spain – if you needed even more reasons to visit.
Plaza de Maria Pita
If you’re looking to sample the local cuisine, this might be the best place to do it in A Coruña. A central square dedicated to Maria Pita, a Spanish heroine who proved pivotal in the defence of A Coruña against English Armada attacks in 1598, this area is home to the impressive City Hall alongside several restaurants and cafes. Description
Comprising unique architecture, scenic canals and a wide range of attractions within easy reach of the cruise port, Copenhagen is often hailed as the best city in the world in which to live. No matter your age or interests, and no matter the weather, there's something for everyone - take a bus tour to get your bearings, then explore royal palaces, museums and parks. Nyhavn is an iconic spot for photos, cafes and culture, and breathtaking 18th-century architecture.
The Little Mermaid sculpture, perhaps one of Copenhagen's most well-known tourist destinations, took inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen's well-known fairy tale. The Little Mermaid, a gift from Danish brewer Carl Jacobsen to the City of Copenhagen, was unveiled on August 23, 1913 and is located on Langelinie Pier.
Tivoli Gardens
Situated in the centre of Copenhagen, Tivoli Gardens is a theme park with rides, a beautiful lake, shops, cafes and more. The third-oldest operational amusement park in the world, it dates back to 1843. A magical attraction that’s worth a visit when you’re in Copenhagen, it has something for all ages.
National Museum of Denmark
Denmark's main cultural history museum, the National Museum of Denmark in Copenhagen, contains a variety of exhibits, from Danish artefacts to international exhibits. Located near Strget in Copenhagen's downtown, it's the perfect day out for those wanting to learn more about Denmark's captivating past.
