Alternatively these can be bought while on the ship but may be more expensive than pre-booking.

Parking

Car parking at the port or airport for the duration of your trip is not included within the price of the cruise. Port/airport parking can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add this to your package. An approximate cost for parking is between £12 - £20 per car per day. Alternatively we can arrange transfers from your home to the departure airport/port.

We liked that Explorer 2 is a small ship and never seemed crowded. Cabin was rather tired and the duvet cover and curtains looked to have seen better days. New white bed linen would make a huge difference. We didn’t have to wait to go into restaurants for meals. Crew were extremely cheerful and friendly without exception. We enjoyed the evening theatre productions and thought the Robbie Williams Experience and Scoty Miller were very good. The food on the whole was good although towards the end of the week the presentation seemed rather slapdash! I did get a sickness bug on my last night on the cruise which has obviously clouded my view on the food! We did have an excellent meal in Surf & Turf. We would have preferred a couple more stop offs as 4 days at sea is rather too long for us although the weather on the whole was good.

I had a wonderful experience aboard the Marella Explorer 2. All the staff aboard are very friendly thoughtful and create a very welcome atmosphere aboard ship. The infrastructutre needs a little attention, but I understand the ship is due to have some work undertaken. I attended the solos group aboard. It was really well supported by crew members who arranged for us to sit together at restaurants of our choice and were very helpful to a couple of passengers who required some assistance. It is my view that they went above and beyond their job description.
