When you take a Royal Caribbean cruise, as well as your cruise fare, you’ll be expected to pay a little extra to the crew members. A daily service charge of $18 - $20 per person, per day (depending on your cabin) is applied to each guest's SeaPass account. This can be paid before or after your cruise.

I recently sailed with Royal Caribbean and wanted to share some constructive feedback to help enhance future guest experiences. Overall, I enjoyed the entertainment, especially the theatre shows, drinks service in the venues, buffet dining, and the spacious balcony areas. These elements were consistently well delivered and made a strong positive impression. There were, however, several areas where the onboard experience felt below expectations:In‑cabin amenities — The lack of a refrigerator, limited power sockets, and absence of in‑cabin movie options made the cabin feel less comfortable and less practical than expected. Guest convenience — Ship announcements were difficult to hear or unclear, and the luggage process felt more stressful than it needed to be. Drinks & bar service — Cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages didn’t meet the quality I’ve experienced elsewhere, and the variety felt limited. Onboard credit — The onboard credit system felt restrictive, particularly with the lack of bank‑linked credit options. Entertainment variety — Bingo was underwhelming and didn’t feel like a well‑developed activity. I’m sharing this feedback in the spirit of improvement. Royal Caribbean has many strengths, and with attention to the areas above, the overall guest experience could be significantly enhanced.

It was a very good cruise. I always like RCI as they have more entertainment and most of the crews are so polite. Putu and Elaine our my time dine crews are so good and look after us. Hospitality, Aldon who look after our room is excellent. Sarah from the diner and the other are all cool.

The Activities are same on all RC and you can take part or watch. I stayed in a spacious stateroom which was great the room was always clean and nothing was too much effort. The ice show was fantastic and theatre shows were the same. The standard of food around the ship was also great.

This was Our very first ever cruise and definitely will not be our last. From start to finish we were super impressed from getting onto the ship no fuss no queues no stress. We had a week of absolute relaxation never felt watched or bothered. You really can have a cruise as busy or as chilled out as you want it to be. We loved our port days and travel to and from ship was quick and easy. Staff all very friendly and efficient couldn't have asked for more really. Food was absolutely amazing and lots of it. We were so impressed by our time we booked another cruise whilst on board. It really doesn't have to be that expensive either it's affordable we only wish we had done it years ago!! Our Cabin was more than enough we had an interior room as had nothing to compare otherwise but in fact we booked another interior for next year too. You're surrounded by seas so deck views are perfect for outside space. Both embarkation day and disembarking were such a breeze and the ship was so easy to navigate. We've convinced five other family members to join us on our next cruise on freedom of seas next year. Will probably never fly again it was that good. X

Royal Caribbean strongly recommends that all guests consider purchasing travel insurance to protect themselves against unexpected events that could disrupt their travel plans, such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss, or travel delays.
