I am new to cruising. The cabin was lovely with a picture window to see out to sea, the bed was so comfortable, plenty of room to hang clothes ect. There was a kettle in the room but only provided tea, no milk and espresso cups. The food in the restaurants was of a high standard and served professionally but eating in the main buffet restaurant was a bit mad and some people are so greedy. I expected broadway shows as advertised on tv but found the entertainment to be rather poor. Disembarking for trips was quite quick considering how many people were on board. A lot of events that were happening on board were very much sales orientated, I felt I was on a floating retail outlet. However, I had a lovely holiday and met some lovely people on there

Another great cruise from Princess. Was very tiring as we had no sea day until day 4, and excursions were full on.
Didn’t enjoy Kuala Lumpur, but the rest were amazing. A lot of the ports you needed to travel from, but were worth the journey.

Great staff, great ship. Hardly used the buffet restaurant. The food was literally luke warm if you were lucky. Some days it was cold. Also allowed customers to camp when not eating, either reading books, playing card, domino's ect. They should announce politely to vacate tables after eating to allow room for other's who have not eaten. Its just not big enough.

Scenic Cruising Kanmon Straits
A stunning stretch of water separating Honshu and Kyushu, two of Japan’s four main islands, the Kanmon Straits (which are also known as the Straits of Shimonoseki) are surprisingly narrow for the number of ships (around 700 on an average day) that take advantage of this waterway daily. Playing an important role in Japan’s naval history, with numerous battles between Japan and the US taking place here throughout the Shimonoseki Campaign in 1863, cruising through this stretch of water will afford you the opportunity to admire the stunning scenery of both Japanese islands at the same time. Every August, the Kanmon Strait plays host to the largest firework display in Japan, where more than 13,000 fireworks are launched from both sides of the strait into the night sky.
