Car parking

Car parking at the port or airport is not included in the cost of your cruise, and this cannot currently be booked through Iglu Cruise. However, please contact us after you have made your booking if you would like to add this to your package, so we can discuss options. An approximate cost for parking during a cruise is around £12 to £20 per car per day. Alternatively, transfers can be arranged.

Excursions

If you would like to do any excursions/tours while docked these will be an additional charge. Excursions/tours can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package. Alternatively these can be bought while on the ship but may be more expensive than pre-booking.

Transfers (home to port)

Boarding was quick and easy, Celebrity transfer form the airport well organsed and very quick and smooth. Everything about the ship was excellent ,cabin ,food ,atmospher, and lets not forget the amazing Martini Bar.

We were very satisfied with everything except the diabolical wifi package. We had the basic package as Elite customers to start but this only permitted calls and text no pictures or videos. We have never been limited on such an exclusive ship. Even when we upgraded the service was very unreliable although some photos went eventually. Having travelled regularly on Celebrity and Princess and more luxury brands we have never experienced such a poor wifi service and it spoiled the holiday.

We had a wonderful 10-night cruise on Celebrity Eclipse. The boarding process was smooth and well organised, and the ship, food, facilities, and overall service were excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. The places we visited made our experience even more memorable. The only disappointing part was the journey home- the airline. We had to disembark at 8:00 am, despite our flight being scheduled for 9:50 pm, which was then delayed even further. Spending almost the entire day waiting at the airport was exhausting and certainly not the ideal way to end such a lovely holiday. Better coordination between disembarkation and flight times would be greatly appreciated. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise and would happily sail with Celebrity again!

There are three dining options with Celebrity Cruises; Celebrity Select Dining, Eary, Late and Anytime. Guests who opt to dine on the early or late sitting (6:30pm-8:30pm) will be seated with the same guests on the same table and with the same waiting staff. Thos who wish to dine on the Anytime option will have more flexibility and can choose their dining time (anytime between 6pm and 9:30pm).

Celebrity Cruises offers a range of dietary accommodations, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Passengers can notify the cruise line in advance to enjoy their cruise with personalised dining experiences aligned with their dietary requirements.

The maximum total weight per guest is 90kg, apart from the Xpedition class ships in the Galapagos. Please be aware that airlines have their own luggage restrictions and rules to comply with before and after your time onboard.

Celebrity Cruises promotes a smart-casual dress code for most evenings. Formal nights offer a chance to dress elegantly with evening gowns and tuxedos as an option. The cruise line's website provides specific details about the dress code to help passengers prepare accordingly.

Iglu Cruise has a team in place to provide necessary assistance to make your holiday run smoothly. If anyone in your party requires medical or mobility assistance, notify your Cruise Specialist at the time of booking or as soon as possible if circumstances change after booking. The Special Assistance Team will email a form 6-8 weeks before departure, which must be completed and returned.

Travel requirements

All passengers (including all children), should hold their own full 10-year (5 years for children) British Citizen (GBR) passport. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months past your expected return date to the UK, as this is often a criteria for entry to certain countries.

Celebrity Cruises strongly recommends that all guests consider purchasing travel insurance to protect themselves against unexpected events that could disrupt their travel plans, such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss, or travel delays.
