Car parking

Car parking at the port or airport is not included in the cost of your cruise, and this cannot currently be booked through Iglu Cruise. However, please contact us after you have made your booking if you would like to add this to your package, so we can discuss options. An approximate cost for parking during a cruise is around £12 to £20 per car per day. Alternatively, transfers can be arranged.

Excursions

If you would like to do any excursions/tours while docked these will be an additional charge. Excursions/tours can’t currently be booked with us online but please contact us after you have made the booking if you would like to add these to your package. Alternatively these can be bought while on the ship but may be more expensive than pre-booking.

The 2 weeks we spent onboard were amazing from the boarding to disembarkation. With regard to embarkation & disembarkation both were well organised & efficient. The ship & its facilities were excellent, This was our first time on a Celebrity ship & I must say that we were a little surprised at the amount of space given over to the Casino & Jewellery Shops. We had all our meal in the Oceanview Cafe as both choice & quality was outstanding. The food was the best we'd experienced in our 50 plus cruises. The entertainment both visiting artists & the show team was very good. We thought the cabin was very good but we were a little disappointed about the absence of tea & coffee making facilities but it is available on request. We found the staff to be excellent. Without doubt we will be sailing with Celebrity again.

Celebrity Apex is a great modern cruise liner. The food and the facilities are excellent and the staff and crew are superb. Best of all is the Theatre, which held 3 incredible West End style productions and a variety of fantastic headliner acts. Rachael Hawnt, performing as Cher, was amazing. Celebrity Apex is equivalent to a 5 Star Hotel, but with so many more benefits.

There are three dining options with Celebrity Cruises; Celebrity Select Dining, Eary, Late and Anytime. Guests who opt to dine on the early or late sitting (6:30pm-8:30pm) will be seated with the same guests on the same table and with the same waiting staff. Thos who wish to dine on the Anytime option will have more flexibility and can choose their dining time (anytime between 6pm and 9:30pm).

Celebrity Cruises offers a range of dietary accommodations, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Passengers can notify the cruise line in advance to enjoy their cruise with personalised dining experiences aligned with their dietary requirements.

The maximum total weight per guest is 90kg, apart from the Xpedition class ships in the Galapagos. Please be aware that airlines have their own luggage restrictions and rules to comply with before and after your time onboard.

Celebrity Cruises promotes a smart-casual dress code for most evenings. Formal nights offer a chance to dress elegantly with evening gowns and tuxedos as an option. The cruise line's website provides specific details about the dress code to help passengers prepare accordingly.

Iglu Cruise has a team in place to provide necessary assistance to make your holiday run smoothly. If anyone in your party requires medical or mobility assistance, notify your Cruise Specialist at the time of booking or as soon as possible if circumstances change after booking. The Special Assistance Team will email a form 6-8 weeks before departure, which must be completed and returned.

Travel requirements

All passengers (including all children), should hold their own full 10-year (5 years for children) British Citizen (GBR) passport. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months past your expected return date to the UK, as this is often a criteria for entry to certain countries.
