The whole ship was very clean and tidy. The room was well serviced. Food was plentiful and fresh and we were served very quickly. Swimming areas were limited but we could always get a seat or a lounger on the various decks. Guest services were very helpful. There were a few British people and many American or Canadian cruisers. Entertainment was ok. Destinations were excellent. We’d have liked more information about what to do in or near the various ports, but the trips that we took from the ship were very informative and led by local people who knew the islands well. Embarkation and disembarkation were excellent. It all ran very smoothly. All in all a great cruising experience.

Not the best ship I’d been on. It’s 10 years since my last Carnival cruise and I was a bit disappointed. The buffet layout is all wrong with long lines and you need long arms to reach some of the food on offer. The pools small and crowded on busy warm sea days. The theatre is not a great design with loads of restricted views of the stage. We had a balcony on deck 2 but due to bad weather the crew locked the door so we could not access it for a third of the 9 days. So really had an ocean view when the balcony was out of action. Perhaps Carnival will give us a refund of a third off the difference between a balcony and an ocean view? I appreciate safety is paramount but it seemed excessive to lock us out for three days. We missed a stop due to the weather so didn’t experience the full itinerary.
