Lovely boat, spotlessly clean with enough nooks and crannys to make it interesting. Food and entertainment are excellent. Much care an attention is put on heigeine and keeping passengers safe and well. Captain Michael's daily announcements were a joy. Very relaxing atmosphere and very friendly and helpful staff.

I couldn’t t fault my recent cruise on the beautiful Borealis! No problem being a single traveller, plenty of opportunities to make friends! Crew, entertainment, food, cleanliness, tours all excellent! I will definitely be cruising with Fred again😵‍💫

Great time first on Fred really enjoyed

Fred Olsen's ships are always great. The Borealis' is a lovely ship and the crew are great, from the bottom to the top, very courteous and will do what they can to help. Theatre productions are the best I've seen. My only gripe is the same for ALL cruise companies, solo passengers get a bit of a raw deal cost wise especially when two in a cabin can get a bigger discount pro rata percentage wise than solos.

Very pleasantly decorated, well maintained and comfortable small size cruise ship. The food and entertainment was first rate and the ship’s company are all very helpful and efficient. A most enjoyable two week cruise.

A very tiered ship, many windows were ‘blown’ and could not be seen through and the frames appeared to have fungus growing on them . Our cabin had a piece of the ceiling profile missing and the wall mounted TV was on a very unusual angle. The lido deck (3) was closed for repair at various times throughout the cruise. The waiting staff tried very hard but waiting 20 minutes for a drink / bar service was not unusual. . The entertainment was repetitive 3 acts on two occasions. Our trip to hopefully see the northern lights was so poor that we were given a 40% refund, however the refund had to be spent on the ship in the last 24 hours of the cruise when stocks and choices were very limited, in terms of consumer regulation I’m not sure that a system that ment that Frank Olsen benefited from. poor performance was right.

Older ship that is nicely smaller, well maiintained and with a very competent, helpful and friendly crew. All this and an affordable price. What's not to like?

We both had a really lovely time on the Borealis starting from the cabin which was indoor but was very spacious much more than we expected the staff on board were absolutely fantastic they couldn't do enough for you the ship was beautiful with lots of lovely areas to relax all in all probably one of the best cruises we have been on. Well done Fred Olsen and thank you we certainly will book another and a big thank you to Iglu who arranged all this for us 😄👍
