Azamara Quest Reviews
View Cruise DealsGreat size ship Well staffed who were very helpful and friendly. Nice atmosphere Food excellent and plentiful Only disappointment - lack of adherence to informal dress code
Very enjoyable cruise “ great for meeting people because of the ship’s size! The white nights were something really special.
Very disappointed in the destination lectures. We expected to be told about our upcoming port not a talk on marketing or advertising. The ambiance on board was good and the crew pleasant.
The staff and crew were a step up from most cruise companies, with genuine friendliness, even the Captain took time to sit and stalk to passengers, nothing was a problem for guest services. Food was again a cut above most other ships, especially the White Night and brunch's. The entertainments team really enjoyed themselves, which in turn made it fun for us passengers, 22 days of one of the best cruises we have had.
This is an old ship which has been well maintained, but you have to accept that the cabins are small with limited storage space. On the plus side, the staff are exceptional in terms of friendliness and service. The ports of call were good with one exception, and most of the older parts of towns/town centres were accessible by either provided shuttles or good local transport
Crew were great /Entertainment team very talented
Lovely
All transfers were on time. Hotels at start and end of cruise were good and in excellent locations. Ship was good, second time on this vessel. Cabin steward and bar staff very good. Main dining room service slightly slow service if sitting on a bigger table e. g. 8 places, just make sure to say to the waiter you are going to the evening show so want to finish dining by 20:45.
Very good crew and food and very clean ship
Firstly the hotel - Condado Palm - Tapestry Hilton in Peurto Rico was a very basic 2 star hotel with inattentive staff. I had advised Azamara that my husband cannot walk long distance, but was offered no assistance. Embarkation wasn't a pleasant experience, as were headed like cattle, by rude staff. Our luggage had been 'mislaid ' whilst we changed planes from Madid to Peurto Rico, after waiting 3 days, the cases were flew to our cruise ship in St Thomas. We expected this ship to be 5 star, but it was more like 3 star. Poor Food, menu rarely changed. Entertainment repetitive. Staff spoke in their own languages in front of guests. Staff worked very hard. Clean Stateroom, but veranda not swept in 19 days. Please see the picture of the tatty torn tablecloth which accompanied our Room service breakfast. Azamara excusions the times often cut short. New Years eve entertainment was only in one area of the ship, we heard many passengers complaining. We expected so much more from this cruise, and felt let down.
